Waiter super friendly but inattentive and got two orders wrong. One guest didn’t get entree at all only a side. Waiter seldom checked. Never asked how was the food. Ordered mainly seafood. Mussels were excellent, roll good and octopus ok.

Food was very good but mixed reviews on the service. My wife and I had a reservation and requested an indoor table because it was a chilly night. The hostess seated us right in front of an open door - basically right in the doorway to outside seating - where the wind was blowing in making us uncomfortable. We asked the waiter if we could move to an open table nearby away from the door, and he went and spoke with the hostess who never came over. Eventually I got up and found the hostess myself who was curt and seemed unresponsive to our request. Thankfully another gentleman (maybe the manager?) eventually came to our table and helped us move to the nearby table away from the open door. Our waiter (Derek?) was friendly and provided great service. Overall a very good dinner other than our experience with the hostess.

JRDN continues to be my favorite PB spot. Although close to Garnet, it is heads and tails above any other spot in the area. And continues to serve quality food, cocktails at the beach. Across the board the staff is knowledgeable, efficient and always friendly. Please don’t come here—I always want to be able to walk in and get a seat at the bar! ;-)

Despite being residents of the hotel within which JRDN sits we were treated like second class citizens as our pre-booked meal for two clashed with a brash wedding reception party who were clearly favoured (eg on arrival for a pre-dinner drink we were we were immediately told that the seats we had sat at were reserved for the party despite no "Reserved" signs on any of the tables). Also, we discovered that we couldn't charge the meal to our room but had to pay for it separately - never experienced the like before. Food was nothing special despite all of the hype. Place was full of brash, noisy young wannabes. All in all, an unpleasant & unwelcome experience. Style over substance.

Birthday dinner celebration - were seated outside next to the window with fabulous view of ocean and sunset. Food was good (chicken was slightly undercooked) and wine options fair. Service was attentive however, waiter seemed a bit off his game (hyper). Would try again - good value and great views of the ocean and sunset. Outside heaters kept us warm too!

Oysters were lacking in flavor. All other food we got was great though. Highly recommend the ahi tuna tacos, tuna tuna tuna roll, lobster roll, and yellowtail sashimi or nigiri! The low rating really comes from how long it took to get cocktails. Probably 10-15 minuets each time. We got out appetizers before the first round of cocktails.

Amazing services and outstanding meals. The entire staff was amazing. They worked well as a teaming making sure every part of our dining experience was perfect. From the manager to the waitress and lovely staff pouring water and helping with ancillaries, service we superb. As exceptional as the service was the food. We came hungry and they did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was a delectable delight. Do not leave without having the cheddar biscuits and the bread pudding were sooooo good!! Before we left the restaurant we made a reservation for another night.

On vacation and staying in area. Wanted a sunset view for dinner. Got a nice spot on the patio but it’s set down a bit and there’s a fence on the other side of the boardwalk. So we could see the sun set over the fence, not exactly the horizon but close. Good food.
