This was my first time having dinner here, as I have usually picked up their amazing sandwiches from their deli for lunch. Try the chicken parm sandwich! The owner was so inviting and my boyfriend and I had a great table. The wait staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful when trying to decide between all of the delicious options. Their drinks are top rate and their martini’s are perfectly chilled. Dinner was incredible. We had the stuffed zucchini blossoms, the spicy rigatoni, the pork chop and the chocolate raspberry boudini for dessert. Everything was so tasty and expertly made. Their espresso martini topped off the night with their signature logo in the foam. I am so excited to know that this is right around the corner and it is my new favorite spot!

Josie & Tony’s is a must try experience-it checks all the boxes for dining out across the board such as cocktails - food - service - ambiance and more. My friends and I can’t wait to go back. Josh is great and so is his team!

This was our first time going and we will definitely be back. The staff was so friendly and knowledgable, the drinks and food were fantastic, and the decor and music fit the restaurant theme perfectly! The Caprese cocktail was mind blowing, they have a top notch wine list, and if you’re willing to get your fingers a little dirty the braised artichoke was totally worth it! My husband loved the hamachi, the chicken parm and eggplant parm were delish, and the rainbow cookie dessert was amazing! Thanks Josh and team for a wonderful evening!

As someone who grew up in NYC going to Italian dinner clubs and now lives in Fairfield county, Josie and Tony’s is an awesome addition to the dining scene here. It’s one of the few places around where you can feel like you are “going out” when you go out to dinner - you want to get dressed and act like an adult here. They do a great job of setting different vibes for different nights. Wednesday and Sunday they have a piano player, Friday and Saturday they have a great playlist for you to have fun while feeling like an adult. For those complaints about the vibe or the music, I think you need to read the room - certainly the website aligns with what they are trying to accomplish. Because the vibe is not what you want, that doesn’t make it one star. Now, let’s talk about the food. They do a great job in having a comtemporary take on Italian classics. The apps are great, the table side ceasar adds to the upscale vibe and the main entrees are delicious. I personally like the spiral sausage and the veal chop. My wife loves all the fish preparations. Dessert has the same contemporary take on old school classics - take your pick. The wine list is extensive. If you want classic, it’s there. If you want to be adventurous, it’s there. The wine staff wants you to get what you are looking for, not what they are looking to sell. I’ve been there multiple times and each time it’s a combination of people I have seen before and new diners - tells me that people are coming back. It’s going to be my go to spot when I want to go out - relaxing and familiar when I want it to be, great time out when I want that. Regardless of the vibe I am looking for the food is outstanding!

I came to Josie and Tony’s last night hoping for a nice evening out. While the service from our server was attentive and friendly, the overall experience was really disappointing. There was a table near us that was extremely loud — not just casual laughter, but shouting and disruptive noise that made it hard to have a conversation at our own table. I decided to bring it to the attention of the general manager, hoping for some kind of acknowledgment or assistance. Instead, I was brushed off. The GM basically implied it was my problem because “people were having fun.” I left feeling unheard and honestly, a little insulted. I completely understand that people come out to enjoy themselves — but there’s a balance between having fun and ruining the atmosphere for other diners. The dismissive attitude from management really soured what could have been a great experience. I won’t be returning.

Ms. Greenspan, Your behavior last night was absolutely atrocious. At 9:45 you voiced for the first time that you were so angry about the behavior of a nearby table. You stood up trying for them to see you. Their behavior was boisterous but not out of line. We immediately offered to move your table. While being moved you physically accosted my managed by hitting his arm while he was serving wine to another table. You should NEVER put your hands on an employee of mine. We should have asked you to get out of our establishment. It's a boisterous restaurant on friday and saturdays. After moving you, you stayed for another hour. You are not welcome at this establishment. And quite honestly most restaurants should be wary when they see your name appear on their reservation list. Shame on you.

Pretty shocking that a menu at a restaurant takes the time to literally call you an idiot right on their menu based on whether you decide to vaccinate your children or not. No matter which side of the aisle youre on - i think most people just want to enjoy a meal with their family and/or friends without being called names by the restaurant owner youre giving your hard earned money to because you may have a single differing opinion on a very specific subject. Very odd. Menu is lacking any real substance. Food is very average. Overpriced. Service was very rude and non attentive. 10/10 would NOT recommend.
