Josephine is the latest concept from James Beard nominated Chef Michael Scelfo of smash hits Alden & Harlow, Waypoint, and The Longfellow Bar.

Josephine is a celebration of family and food, focused on Italian favorites and simple pleasures.

Josephine features deep dish & thin wood fired pizzas and whimsical riffs on classic Italian foods, all set in a lively space. A massive marble bar with craft cocktails, ice cold martinis on tap, and a huge out door space that's dog friendly with an outdoor bar and fire pit will bring you back again and again.

We were recommended Josephine's . Everything was Great - Food, Atmosphere, Service, NO rushing us out. one exception = Cocktails were just OK! Wine was very good Looking forward to going back again

Great time Celebrating my Aunts bday. Food and Hugo spritz were amazing. Love the warm Olives and ricotta. Kitchen was aware of my Allergies and were very accommodating. Enjoyed everything.

We felt our food was absolutely delicious and I cannot recommend this place enough. I had codfish. It was one of the best fish meals of my life.

Their brunch menu is the best I’ve seen in a long time - we wanted one of everything! I’m nominating the eggplant parm sandwich on focaccia for sandwich of the year. Delicious! And the service was fantastic.

Very pretty restaurant. The food was excellent. We had an issue with one of orders and the manager came over and was apologetic and took steps to remedy it quickly. We will definitely be back!

Food is always amazing. The pizza was a little too mushy/runny when we cut it up. Server forgot about us a bit. Rushed like crazy at first. Then… 🤷🏻‍♂️ couldn’t be found/bothered. Feel like he was new. Will be back. Just not with same Waiter.

We went to Josephine's the evening before Harvard's commencement, so the restaurant was completely booked. It was pretty loud. It's a very large space, so a lot of tables for the servers to wait on. Our food was fine - I prefer a crispier crust on my pizza than what they had. But that said, it was good. The prices are reasonable. My Blue Comet beer was good. In terms of service, the server did not come repeatedly to ask us how everything was going. Just once or twice. What annoyed me was that in the end, I did not finish half of my pizza. They put it in a box for me, but didn't remind me to take it with me. So, I promptly forgot it on the table. When I returned 10 minutes later to get it, they couldn't find it. For me, that's enough not to return to the restaurant because what it means is that the restaurant was so large and crowded they couldn't pay much attention to me.

This was our first visit and we were truly impressed! Our server Sandra was attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly- The food was great. Wine selection very good. We ordered the broccolini and a rice ball to share. And then a classic pizza. We will be back!

First the service was fabulous! Prompt and helpful guidance for ordering. Unfortunately the food did not match. The fried artichokes hearts and mozzarella sticks were dry, overdone and heavily breaded. We asked for a lightly dressed cesear salad and it was soaking in dressing. We couldn’t eat it and sent it back. They kept it on the bill.
