    We've dined at Josephine's often since living in Austin. It's a short walk from our home and we're happy to have a local restaurant that feels local with excellent food choices.

    We love this place! It’s quaint and romantic. We ordered the avocado toast which came with a huge 1” thick piece of toast - way more carbs / bread than I think makes sense for a healthy breakfast.

    I made a reservation last minute for an outside table and was worried it would be too hot, but there was plenty of shade and even a fan. The food was delicious and our server was the sweetest! PS the green juice was the best green juice I’ve ever had.

    We had brunch on the side patio, wasn’t too loud. The pancakes were amazing and steak was cooked to perfection. We also had a couple good cocktails. The espresso martini was wonderful. Definitely make a reservation or expect a decent wait.

    We appreciated the rotating fan over our outdoor seating, the quiet, but pleasantly upbeat atmosphere, the food was great the service was great - we will. be back if we return to Austin!
