    Was not impressed. We had a reservation and they didn’t have a table for us. Our choice was to wait a long time for a table or sit in the bar. Everything was VERY over seasoned. The “frites” were very similar to fast food french fries and had so much salt they were almost in edible.

    I wanted to love it. The ambience is lovely, good vibe, cozy yet spacious… really nicely done. But the food was mediocre. Seriously lacking in depth of flavor. I loved the thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant in the ratatouille- that was a fresh take- but then it was like a glob of melted boursin in the middle. Missed opportunity. Same with the crab nicóise salad- that should have been a showstopper. But instead the crab meat was chopped super fine rather than being kept lump- and as seafood lover it was surprisingly bland or maybe just unbalanced. Missing lemon or an acid, too herbaceous… to the extent that the herbs were almost off putting. I did not try the bouillabaisse which would have been a no-brained for me bc the cream in did not resonate with me. My date also had a salad that was just not very good. Not bad, but I wanted to leave raving about our food and it just wasn’t there unfortunately. Maybe it’s a better burger/meat spot? unsure. I may try again but not in a hurry to.

    This place was amazing and you should. I have zero complaints or critiques, it was just perfect. Get your butt there for an fantastic meal!

    Amazing! That one word says it all. It was a truly amazing dining experience from the moment we walked in the door until we left two hours later. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and really, really well prepared and the wine selection well curated. And the chef, Jess, was kind enough to visit with us and talk about his joy for cooking. Granted, this was a quiet Monday evening but I am certain that Josephine delivers even on busy Fridays and Saturdays. Although you may not get a visit from Jess as he will be too busy making sure that your food is incredible. Make reservations and go there, now!

    Celebrated my birthday at Josephine’s, and it was great! Wine recommendation was perfect, steak frites, vin & fromage, and ratatouille were all so good, and chocolate dessert was rich and decadent. Justin was a server and did an awesome job. They even brought us out a couple extra surprise bites of things not on the menu! It was very nice! I also love how it is located in a French architecture inspired building! Great experience!

    Josephine’s food, service, and ambiance was exceptional. We were able to have a wonderful evening with friends and never felt rushed or that they wanted to turn the table We will definitely be back

    We had a great experience and would recommend this place. The service was great and the staff was fun to interact with. Our meal was very flavorful and the menu had some interesting items that we'd like to try next visit. Would highly recommend the desserts too!
