Jose - Dallas
Loved this place..the noise level was a bit high but the food was worth it. Truly would love to get their warm smoked salsa in a jar!
Caesar was delightful
Our food was delivered extraordinarily fast. If we hadn’t ordered another round of drinks, we would have been in and out in less than an hour. It was Saturday at 7:30 for a birthday. We wanted to enjoy our meal and our friends, but we were rushed out for another seating.
The only thing that bothered me was that the waiter was trying to turn our table too quickly.
Rose is our favorite server! She is always happy to see us.
Great food. Service was rushed and ruined the experience. Our entrees came out 3 minutes after we ordered and constantly had the waiter asking us if we were finished.
Service was horrible. Our waiter was more interested in chatting with the manager and staff more than attending to the needs of the table. I got up and got my own water after waiting for almost 10 minutes. We ask if the Coconut Ceviche had onions. Not only was it brought out with onions, the so called correction was brought out the same. If your old fashioned and like Mole'. I wouldnt suggest this as not anything close to it. I would take off the menu as such so not to ruin the name. Part of the chicken were uncooked. (On the bottom) As for the Wagyu steak..I literally compared it to a microwaved version of a Wal-Mart steak with zero flavor and horrible taste. The tuna/avacodo appetizer was great and the water..that was about it. Terrible experience. If this is your Carribean twist on Tex Mex...have at it but stick to one or the other.
My favorite place to eat in Dallas! If you go, the agua chile is a must try!
Great service! Excellent food ! Great tequila selection!
All around amazing!!! One of the best in Dallas!
the pozole!! so yum! had a great girls dinner, thank you!
The restaurant was not busy and we were seated immediately. Service was friendly, albeit, a little slow at times, especially considering the tables weren’t full.
Warm chips with two salsas were complimentary. (The tomatillo salsa was a bit limey).
The fresh squeezed juices were delightful.
The menu offerings were creative and comprehensive without being unwieldy.
We tried the Chilaquiles and Pozole. Both were very good and generous portions.
We will definitely return.
Love the food, service, atmosphere. Music a little too loud for our taste, specially during brunch time.
Loved my la chica salad and the green salsa and chips.
Wonderful for and even! We only wish it wasn't so noisy!
Food and service were very good. Downside was that the frozen passion fruit margarita was way overpriced for what you got. Just tasted like a typical fruity margarita. Overall, I would definitely return though for the food and service.
I love Jose's. I took a group of ladies there, for a lunch at 1 PM. It was fantastic. We had the place pretty much to ourselves as other diners drifted off to work. We had a great time because we could talk freely as the noise level got lower. Our waiter was pleasant, kept tabs on us without being intrusive. We certainly will return.
Great fresh food and wonderful service as always. Have never had a bad meal or bad experience there. They are fresh and innovative and the servers are happy!
Service was spectacular for our large group!
The cutest spot with amazing food and cocktails!
The food was pretty good, but nothing was extraordinary. The service was fine as well.
I love the food and service here. But the valet parking set up is very frustrating. If you're required to valet, then I shouldn't have to wait ages. The valet gave me the keys to my car after a long wait and even then bc of the tight parking lot I had to wait a long time to drive out. Hire more banners valets or better yet please let us park ourselves in the overflow lot.
Good food. Extremely loud
Good brunch. Juevos rancheros are not typical, but very tasty. Best tortilla chips in Dallas.
Loved the food, very creative, wonderful presentation and delicious. But too noisy to have conversations. Too bad
Food is superb, and the service is excellent. Fun neighborhood restaurant.
The margaritas are fresh and delicious! The service is outstanding!
Everything was outstanding! Eduardo, our waiter for the evening provided excellent service,
Michael and his team at Jose do a wonderful job with hospitality, unique central-Mexico menu items, and attentive service. The outdoor patio is our favorite spot even in cooler weather (numerous heaters) and the central fountain makes for a relaxing ambiance where you are encouraged to linger.
Still gushing over for food and service. Top notch!! Cannot wait to go back to Jose!!
I would have rated this higher if the server had checked on us a little more often. There were times when we needed drink and chips refills. And it took some time to find her when it was time for the check. Maybe because we were there for brunch and it was getting busier? Also I’m not a fan of blocking off the only paved lot for valet parking, especially during the day when it’s not super busy. We had to park in the unpaved lot or on the street. The food was good though and I wouldn’t mind eating here again.
Out of town get together
Great food and service. One recommendation is to add double doors so the cold air (and heat in summer) doesn’t flood into the restaurant every time someone comes in and the door doesn’t close quickly
It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas! Great place for dates, friends and drinks!
Ford was very good as was the service. It was pretty noisy though .
I made a reservation via open table and when I arrived. The restaurant was closed. Tuesday at lunchtime. No sign visible explaining. Nothing. Went to Rafas instead and had a great lunch.
Adorable restaurant, great service and AMAZING food!
Fun! Loved the enclosed patio with heaters!
