The food and the service were amazing as always! Melanie went above and beyond on making our visit great! Overall experience was 5 star, from the time we walked in, seated and at the bar!

If there was a way to rate higher than a 5, I would select it! JTR never disappoints! This is the BEST restaurant in Houston, hands down. Drinks always spot on, their bartender is the bomb! They have their own JTR Cabernet Sauvignon! Really. And it’s better than most reds you will ever drink! Steaks and sides cooked to perfection. Whether it’s fish, chicken, pasta or steak, always one of the best meals you will ever have. I had a 8 oz filet mignon with blue cheese sauce and sautéed jalapeños! Fantastic. Nice way to end a very hard week of work. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with this meal and it was special. Thank you JTR!

Service was prompt but not overbearing. Had lunch menu, which was great value. The shrimp and grits was seasoned perfectly, and the shrimp were perfect firmness.

Everything was wonderful. Inthe future will request table away from the kitchen. Was a little loud there. But food and service was fantastic definitely coming back
