   This restaurant is on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. Very good service, our glasses were constantly refilled with wine & water. I believe our host was the owner, and you could tell he took a lot of pride in providing a high-quality dining experience. The food was delicious and although the menu items were more expensive than a lot of restaurants, the portions were also very large & the food was high quality. Overall, we felt the prices were worth it, and it was a nice place to go for our anniversary. Although I feel there are places in Victoria with better ambience, this is mostly due to the lovely heritage buildings where they're located. You could tell the owner put a lot of effort into making ambience in this location, lights were dimmed, table cloths, window coverings & walls were black, candle on the table & an attractive bar area at the back of the restaurant. We will be back!

   Worth every cent! Food is consistently incredible, host is kind, thoughtful, charming, and above all, a genuinely authentic person. It's quiet and never overbooked. Always have a great time here.

   The food was great. We had bread, salad and main. We got the daily special main for two which was $250! We didn't expect the price at all. It was our fault didn't check the price when we ordered but how can you imagine that much since the other main menu was around $40-$60? I don't think it was worth it either. The server was very friendly and nice. We enjoyed the food and services. But the bill for two appetizers and one main for more than $300 (we didn't even drink!) took away the nice experience.

   Our tastes did not enjoy the food. Scallops were overcooked & had to much sauce on Salmon was swimming in the same lobster bisque that was served as the soup. Service was ok but very overpriced for the food

    George, the owner/ chef was so much fun. It was like I was in France having an amazing dinner. Classy/ but with a very comfortable atmosphere
