   Had the Beef Wellington, it was pretty good. Desert was great. They could use a little more robust liquor selection for an Italian Steakhouse, no port, no sambuca and no grappa.

   Overall dinner was good; Our service was mediocre. Our waitress seemed rushed, from taking our order to giving us our check. I ordered the prime rib, and she came back to let us know the restaurant was out - no big deal. However, she probably could've explained why prime rib was still on our bill. It ended up that our replacement order was actually more than the prime rib - which was great, but we didn't know that, and we had to have her come back to explain.

   Service was top notch. Food was delicious. We had the angle hair pasta, lasagna, and chub steak. For desert we had the banana fosters cheese cake that was delicious as well. We were there during happy hour and enjoyed some drinks at a great price.

   We tried Johnny's because of the toasted raviolis. Having lived in St. Louis where every restaurant, diner, bar, etc has toasted ravioli, we were very excited. Johnny's raviolis were good, not St. Louis because they aren't beef, but good. The rest of the meal was ok. We ordered the steak De Borgo. The meat was cooked to temperature, but was under seasoned, not caramelized, and the sauce was just not good. Fortunately, our server suggested we ask for the sauce on the side. Also, we were there for a special occasion, which the hostess confirmed. Beyond that there was no mention of it and no consideration. We'll likely not go back.

   Service spotty, but food delivered. We had to wait a long time to even get waters. When we got our wine, they were in small stemless glasses. Guess they'd run out of regular stemware. Felt a bit robbed of a good wine experience. Server was slow as we saw others around us get served in a better manner. Did not get our loaded mash potatoes for a side, but don't think we were charged for it. Steak Trio and Seafood Pasta Pomodoro were wonderful; would order again.

   Pleasantly surprised this restaurant is with a Hilton Garden Inn. Once inside any relationship with the hotel disappears. Hostess was friendly and promptly seated our threesome. Unfortunately, we were seated next to the bar where a friendly but very loud bartender was entertaining his customers seated at the bar. Our server was Julie who provided excellent service. The dinners, two steaks and a Lasagna, were served almost too quickly but tasted wonderful. Our deserts were large and went well with the after dinner coffee. Aside from the loud bartender the only criticism was a baked potato that wasn't warm/hot. I'd return if in the area again.

    It took 20 minutes to find out the wine I ordered was not in stock. Then another 20 minutes to get 3 drinks. Ordered the chargrilled ribeye, was not seared and amazingly fatty for a 28 day aged steak.

    We have eaten here many times. Unfortuantely, this time the food was not up to their standards. The appetizers (bruschetta and shrimp cocktail) were excellent. However, we both ordered steaks cooked medium. My steak arrived and was on the rare side - red inside not pink; and my husband's arrived with very little, if any pink, inside. Both were extremely chewy and not tender at all. We were not interested in getting anything else at that point. The manager came by and apologized and said he'd take the steaks off of our bill. The steaks come with a side salad and a vegetable. You can upgrade the salad and/or the vegetable. My husband upgraded the salad to include goat cheese ($6) and I upgraded my mashed potatoes to loaded ($2). When the server brought the bill - the manager had not taken off the correct amount for the steaks - took off $50 and it should have been $59 plus did not remove the upgrade charges. Now I realize it's not that much for the upgrades and we did get them, but good customer service would be to remove both of those charges as the salad came as part of the steak dinner. Not a big deal. I did point out to the server that the cost of the steaks was in fact not taken off, so he had to go back to the manager and have it reduced again. The waiter was great and profusely apologized many times. Didn't sour our experience too much - we will give them another chance as anyone can have an off night, but it was a bummer as it was my husband's birthday.

    Our server was good. Desire took good care of us. That was the only plus to this visit. I don't think anyone in that kitchen has ever heard of salt and pepper. Food was super bland. Very under seasoned. Ordered the steak diavolo that came with 3 jumbo shrimp.......that's a lie. Shrimp size were probably 31-40. Nothing jumbo about that. $120 for a very disappointing dinner.

    Our waitress was phenomenal, she made us feel like her best friends. She made genuine recommendations based on our preferences and made our evening wonderful. We did the sample appetizer, and because we aren’t big on calamari, she substituted it out for the meatballs instead. The bruschetta was amazing, the meatballs were good, the sausage bread was fantastic, the fries raviolis were incredible. Such value for the sample appetizer. My husband got beef Wellington, which he loved, and I got the spaghetti with Italian sausage, which was fine— the sausage was too fatty for my tastes, but it was good for the pricepoint. We had the limoncello cake for dessert and it was tart but VERY good. Oh and the bread and salad was great, too. All in all, we were incredibly happy with our dinner choice.

    We went for restaurant week and the menu was fabulous! Highly recommend it! Didn’t care too much for the sirloin (their other steaks on their normal menu are incredible though) but the pasta dish was amazing! Salad, appetizers & dessert were also amazing! Love the vibe at this restaurant. Great for a dinner date night!

    We enjoyed Denver Restaurant week at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse. The appetizers were wonderful and the choice of dinners provided something for everyone to enjoy. We sat near the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere and the very friendly staff. This was our introduction to the restaurant and we will try it again.

    There were three of us, and all of our meals were excellent. The steaks were cooked just the way we wanted. The goat cheese salad was excellent. The service was excellent. The server kept our water classes filled.

    We go to Johnny’s quite often. Normally, the dinner is very good. However, last night our steaks were a little overdone the lasagna was a lot overdone and dry and the service was slow. I know they were shorthanded so the service I can overlook that I was quite disappointed in the food.

    My boyfriend & I dined here for our anniversary. We had a gift card & figured we’d spend it this time. I ordered the filet Oscar & he ordered a similar dish with shrimp. My side order of garlic mashed potatoes was over powered by the garlic & were a flat mush. The steak wasn’t done to my liking - medium - & was undercooked. Did not favor the olives in the house salad & were not told they would be in. We had to mix our house salad ourselves & it would have been easier plate by plate. The meatballs & fried ravioli as appetizers was the only good thing tbh. My red blend wine was too dry & my bf’s margarita tasted like a limeade mix. We will not dine again.

    This place has gone from a 9 to a 2 in less than a year. Cold baked potatoes, filet had a very salty gravy on top, bread was hard, and the drinks were not mixed well. Very bush league service. Not going back.

    Our server was MIA. Water glasses always empty. Food was cold and took too long. Food was not cooked correctly. Was my birthday with my family and the service would have been better at McDonalds. This restaurant when it first opened was 5 star. Food and service was great. Now it’s terrible. Last time I go to this place.

    We just had a mediocre dinner. Service was marginal. Waitress came to our table and asked if we wanted to order appetizers and we had no menus. She brought family style salads and never brought utensils. Steaks were just okay. Prices are high enough that you should get better service and food. We have eaten there 3 times in the past 60 days and the same experience each time. Not sure we will go back.
