Johnny's Italian Steakhouse - Moline
One of the worst meals I have ever had. The service was terrible, slow and negligible. Had to ask where our drinks were, asked for our waters to be refilled and our cocktails had flat soda water. I had the chicken parmesan which was over-cooked and my side of pasta was luke-warm. Side of Brussels sprouts were under cooked and we didn’t get entrees until after an hour and a half.
Great meal and great service. Just a bit noisy for easy conversation.
We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Our server was pleasant, and we both got soup and salad. I thought the salad was rather small, but of course was delicious. My tomato soup was average.
For the amount of food we got I thought it was a bit pricey for lunch. But overall, we both enjoyed our experience there.

Resturant was not crowded, party of 3, two steaks were sent back because they were well done when the request was medium rare. The 3rd was steak and shrimp. It was barely warm but I ate it anyway. Dealt with a few pesky flies the entire meal. Waitress was good. Manager offered one free dessert. We chose cheese cheese which seemed old and dry.

The food was excellent, as usual. The service left a lot to be desired this time around. We were seated right away, but the server didn't come to the table for almost 15 minutes. It took another 20 for the salads and then almost 45 minutes after we were finished with them did our dinners appear. I don't mind a longer wait, but then at least check on our drinks, make sure they are full and let us know that it might be a little bit. None of that happened. The food came out hot, but my husband had to send back his au jus 3 times, because it was French Onion soup the first 3 times. Once that was taken care of, dinner was great and the manager did take care of our inconvenience by discounting our bill.

My wife and I both enjoyed the cedar planked salmon with roasted vegetables. Both were nicely prepared and tasty.

The food was really good but when we arrived the host stand was empty so we waited about 5 minutes to be greeted. Where we were sitting was really lovely and the booths are super comfortable and intimate but we overheard a group next to us find a piece of glove in their chocolate cake.
The food was great! Some if what ordered I did not like but that is because I was trying it for the first time. The Filet Mignon melts like butter.

Wonderful experience celebrating anniversary. Barbara was a great server and allowed us to enjoy a relaxing dinner. Prime rib was lean and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Disappointed overall. Steak was good. Not very hot and baked potato was undercooked. Ordered scallops that we didn’t get and was charged for the salad that came with our meal. Waitor did not come over until about10 minutes after our meal was served to check on us then did not return again until we were done.
This was one of the best meals I have ever had. From start to finish it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Barbra, was the sweetest woman I have ever met. Only complaint was the temperature in the restaurant which she told me they didn’t get to control so not gonna ding them on that. Absolutely worth every penny we spent!

Our server's first night on the job and she was great. You could tell she was well trained. Food was good. Place was nice and clean. Seating not over comfortable. I was glad we had the waitress we did, I heard a couple of the other ladies talking to each other and they certainly seems to have more of an attitude...
We were going to a concert and the location was perfect. We would have liked to have gotten a bit later reservation, but 4:15 seemed to be the latest time on line. When we got there there was a TON of seating open. So I think we could have easily had something 45 minutes later. But after we ate we went down the block to a local brewery and that worked great.

Everything great, as usual. I always try and get there before my party so I can enjoy a cocktail at the bar. The bartender is always fun to talk with and the drinks and service are the best.

we celebrated our daughter's 25th birthday, had an awesome meal and a good experience. Our waitress was a bit overwhelmed and scattered, but the food all came out right.

We have always had a wonderful experience there, until this visit. It was the night of the Paul McCartney show and I understand it was going to be crazy busy. BUT I had reservations since January and we checked in a half hour early. 5 minutes after our original reservation time we were offered a table outside. Worried about the time, we took it. From the start service was VERY SLOW. We got bread but no plates or silverware. We waited a long time for drinks and my wine was wrong (I just kept it, worried about time). We waited another long time for salad. After that our server came back and told us he had LOST our order and we had to reorder it. He offered us more bread but never brought it or asked if we wanted another drink. By the time we got our food it was after 7:00. The food was mediocre: my salmon was dry and pasta was lukewarm. By this time we had to gobble our food and I ended up leaving half of mine. We've been here to eat before several concerts and have always had great food and experience. I know it was an exceptionally busy night but for $100 and with early reservations I feel we deserved a better experience.

The food was very good but the presentation was a little sloppy which was surprising. The lobster bisque was splashed on the rim of the bowl and there was a clump of the garnish on the rim of the bowl.

Been to Johnny's many times. Each time came away more disappointed than the last. Clientele appears to have come from doing yard work. Food was good but used to be outstanding. We don't think we'll be back. Value just not there anymore.
For the price of the steaks we expected a leaner cut. Both steaks has a lot of waste. The potatoes were over cooked. The salad has way too much dressing. Dessert was fair, the coconut ice cream was good. Very disappointed with this visit. We were here 14 years ago when we told my parents we were getting married.

Ordered crab stuffed shrimp and there was little flavor. The crab seemed dry and tasteless. The shrimp was over cooked and a bit rubbery. Friend order the onion soup and sent it back as it was too salty. Sent it back. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

Confusing parking...Parking for Johnny's Italian Steak House sign with arrow to the right. when you make that turn, you only see signs indicating PARKING FOR JOHN DEERE PAVILION ONLY. Then you go in to a parking garage with no signs whatsoever. Ended up parking in the PARKING FOR JOHN DEERE PAVILION ONLY spot. Seemed like the pavilion was closed anyway. Found the entrance. This was odd too. Big sign for the restaurant, when you get to the sign, you've already passed the door to get to the entrance. Little bit of a wait at the hostess stand. Service was good, I've never been able to figure out asparagus, but some restaurants in town serve a side of asparagus and you can cut it up and eat the entire stick. top to bottom. Some asparagus you can only eat the tips and go about 2/3's of the way down. The last inch or so is hard and brittle. Can't chew it up. No big deal. This was the 2/3's asparagus. The restaurant wasn't full for 7 on a Friday night but it was still a moderate noise level. Appetizer was great, the entrees were excellent. Nothing to complain about there. We didn't get dessert but I'm sure it would have been great as well. Bottom line, once you find it, it's a nice upscale restaurant.

Staff friendly. Server Ashley was great. Checking with us often even though she had two large parties to attend to besides us. We arrived approximately 25 minutes early for our reservation but still had to wait until designated time which was fine but would have appreciated hostess pointing out a place to sit while we waited. Didn’t discover a place to wait until our table opened up. Not a huge deal but still....

I would ask to be seated in a quiet area we were not to a huge party with kids running around everywhere. You could tell they got it from their disrespectful parents. You could tell the staff was annoyed also. Parents if your kids don’t know how to act take them to McDonald’s play place. Food and service was good as always.

The food here at Johnny’s never disappoints. It was a busy night after a couple of high school graduation ceremonies across the street. When I made the reservation through Open Table I checked the box to show that my wife were celebrating our anniversary. Neither the hostess or the server acknowledged that we were there to celebrate a special occasion.

The online reservation process was quick and simple. Our table was ready upon our arrival and we received our orders within 30-45 minutes of arrival. I was impressed by the speed of service!

Not the warmest vibe ... chairs uniquely uncomfortable... sausage stuffed mushrooms were excellent; stuffed pork chop was ok ... thicker cut would have been better. Very narrow and ordinary wines by the glass.
I took my husband to dinner for his birthday and the food was delicious, service excellent, a great evening. Thank you for making it so special.

My mom and my daughter and I were here for an early mom’s day dinner. Everything was delicious and our server was very attentive. It’s a shame we live 2 hours away, I’d love to be able to have dinner here more often!

I drove from Indianapols to Moline to surprise my brother on his 70th Birthday and took him and my sister in-law our for dinner. Love this place we had stuffed mushrooms for appetizer and house salad with our meals. Great Petite Filet, Bone in Rib Eye and seafood dish. All delicious!! Our waitress was superior and gifted us with 2 birthday deserts. I would highly recommend this place. Very reasonable prices. We will absolutely come back!!

Service was great. First steak was tough. second steak was better, but not what I expected. Previous dinners there we're alot better.
