If I could have given this place a ZERO, I would have. My comment is different, though, so it may not apply to you. I booked a group of 7 for the evening of Thursday, June 5th. It was supposed to be a very special evening for my immediate family who was coming into KC for a wedding. I, myself, traveled from Nebraska. We walked over, and the place was closed, bar stools up on the bar, etc. There was a manager sitting at the bar. I asked what was going on, because I had a 6:30pm reservation. She looked at me incredulously, then looked at her laptop and then said, "Oh, yeah... you do. I'm so sorry. We had an electrical fire last weekend and we've been closed since." I replied, "You couldn't have contacted me? I came from Nebraska for this!" And she then said with an odd expression of disbelief, "Really?" What an absolute mess of a moment. Heck, I even received the Open Table reminder and confirmed my reservation. This woman was the most inconsiderate manager I could ever imagine. So, we went a block over to 801 Chophouse. We explained the situation. They accommodated our group and treated us like royalty. I highly recommend 801. The food, cocktails and service were outstanding.

Loved it.. Bartender could be more friendly and server should rush tabs on patrons .. but music and dancing was exactly what we needed

The band was fantastic and the ambiance is very cool! I paid $10/person to reserve a table, which was not at all necessary. They were out of a lot of basics like, Michelle Ultra, Bud Light, Guinness etc. Actually easier to mention what they had which was Miller Lite, Bud, Stella, Dunkel and Corona I think. Nothing on tap, although there are taps. All the beer was a little better than room temp. No lemons or limes available on mixed drinks. They offer a charcuterie board, which is the only thing not fried on the menu, but it was also unavailable. Our server was sweet, but would forget our drinks and sometimes when she would put the order in, we would pick up the drinks ourselves because we could see them sitting there for 5-10 minutes. Can use a lot of improvement, but still a cool place.

We had reservations at 7:30 placed our drink order didn’t receive our drinks till 815. The drinks were watered down and not made correctly. The entertainment was not jazz whatsoever. It was a band playing Lionel Richie songs. Worst jazz experience ever would never recommend this place to anyone

Horrible bar experience. Waited 20 minutes for drinks we never got because bartender was talking to someone. Didn't even get to order food, left being hungry and thirsty!

Our server was very sweet, but it took a very long time to get anything we ordered. They were not busy at all. The menu didn't have many options, but the food was ok, and it came out on plastic disposable plates. The restaurant seems very fancy so I was expecting more but it wasn't expensive.

Scheduled reservations for my wife for valentines day ... we sat at our table for 45 mins was never greeted, so we spoke to a waitress she said we had to order food at the bar? Went to the bar they said we must order food at the table .. so me and my wife found another place to spend our evening I was extremely disappointed. The music was great though

If you want a reservation call the place. Dont use this app. It was a complete scam and never got a table. Bartender was absent and can use a lesson on service. Drinks were strong. Glad my date was wanting to move to a more intimate location.

I reserved a standard table for 2 but was sat at the “lounge” which was just a couch with a coffee table in front of it. No waiter or waitress ever came to take our order not even for drinks. After waiting 25 minutes, we left. Horrible service, would not recommend to anyone. Never going back.

First of all, we made a reservation and got put at the bar. Secondly, nearly every drink in the menu was unavailable or they were missing ingredients. Third, the service was slow and we were always told to wait. Finally, the food was great. We got the sausage and pepperoni flat bread and southwest egg rolls. However, two appetizers took 40 minutes to come out. I will not be coming here again and will recommend anyone who plans to go, not to.
