This is a great spot directly in the shopping center which makes it a fun place to take a break while shopping or before heading to the movies across the street. Service is quick, but not rushed. Servers were very friendly and accommodating.

Our Open Table reservation got us seated right away on a Friday night. John Harvard's offers several delicious comfort food choices and has a large selection to please everyone. The nachos are very good and a generous portion to share. Salmon was a large portion of fish and the sauce was delicious. The blackened chicken was a bit spicy, but not overpowering. Chicken pot pie is always a very good choice and looks homemade. We come here quite often and know that John Harvard's is a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. The servers always make sure you are well taken care of.

This is a good spot for a "bite" when you just want some good beer and decent food. The bartenders will give you a "taste" of a beer or two if you can't decide. They also have wine, if that is your pleasure as well has hard liquor. For dinner I had a large Caesar salad with a decent sized piece of grilled salmon. Quite tasty and I felt I had enough. A chicken pot pie was enjoyed by another diner as was fish and chips and a BLT wrap. All in our group enjoyed our meals. Making a reservation is a good idea as this place can get crowded. I've been to this restaurant a number of times in the past and will return again. [It's a good half-way spot between Boston and Worcester]

Our Open Table reservation was well worth it for a busy Saturday night and we were seated right away. The table for two was in a busy traffic spot. We tried the featured Tag Town beer which was good. Clam chowder to start was very good. It took a while for the entrees to come out after the soup. Bread with oil for dipping is served. The hamburgers were large and also very good. The prices are reasonable and they offer a lot of very good comfort food.

It had been awhile since I had been to John Harvard's. I had forgotten how good the beers are! Nice bar. The food is quite good and reasonably priced - nice portions - plenty, but not too large. We sat in a booth, which was quite nice. Some of the seating is a little too close to allow for good conversation, but no complaints. Nice atmosphere and friendly, helpful service. Need to add this one to the list of try more often. Nice evening.

I should have payed more attention to the reviews from previous diners ... this place is AWFUL. It is old, dingy and the food is a less than a step up from airplane food. We only went there because we were meeting family from different parts of MA and it was centrally located with a good beer selection ... McDonald's will be a better choice next time.

It's a pub. They have pub food. It's decent pub food. The service tends to be consistently good even when there's a large party (and we were). We had brunch, and the options were good and the food tasty.

John Harvard's is a great place to go for dinner and enjoy delicious food and great service. The menu offers a large variety of choices to satisfy everyone. They have a large selection of craft beer and usually feature a monthly beer. Our waiter Derrick gave us great service and recommended some very good beers to try. Their most popular dishes are comfort foods, such as chicken pot pie or meatloaf. The chicken pot pie was very good and hearty with many big chunks of chicken and carrots. The meatloaf is a very generous, delicious portion. I'd definitely recommend John Harvard's if you haven't been before or it's been a long time since you returned. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you enjoy the visit.

Dependable, reliable, and a place you can trust. It was a while since we have been. Took my 76 year old cousin from Orlando and he was not disappointed. Server was very accommodating and available. Nice job.
