We had a wonderful, relaxing, fun lunch up in the bar booth area. Our waitress, Katelynn was just a wonderful, lovely asset to the restaurant…. Friendly, intelligent, and engaged w/o being over bearing!!! Yousef, the manager, was equally an asset… making sure we loved our dishes and curious about why we liked them in a very nice way. He wanted to make sure we had a great experience and had just the perfect amount of interaction with us to want us to return!!!

Joey seriously hit the spot. Everyone was so nice and the service couldn’t have been better, super chill and on top of it. But the shrimp and scallop ceviche?? Unreal. So fresh and full of flavor, I could’ve ordered two. Definitely coming back for more soon!

Always had great food and experiences here, but Sydney (Michiko) and Stella truly took it to the next level and gave us an amazing time today. Thank you both for being awesome 👏

This was out first time visiting and we had heard nothing but good things about the restaurant and we were not disappointed. We were initially greeted by the hosts and were offered either sparking wine or sparkling tea, both of which were very good. We were then directed upstairs to our table and were seated and offered water. Our server Deja was extremely friendly, warm and inviting. We initially ordered some mushrooms and they were delicious and my partner ordered the watermelon drink. While we waited for our appetizer to arrive the manger Bella stopped by our table and talked with us for a minute. We really appreciate that as busy as she seemed to be she takes the time to visit tables and see if all is well. We then ordered our entrees, I had the cheeseburger and my partner ordered the lobster pasta. We were very impressed by the presentation and how delicious the food was. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and energetic. Music was not too loud and lighting was enough to still be able to see around you. Everyone who interacted with us was very professional and friendly, but Deja and Bella really stood out. They made our night very special and we will definitely tell friends and family and come back again, thank you

The food was good, but the customer service was excellent. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were welcomed with smiles and offered a beverage. We had a reservation and were seated a few minutes after we arrived. The table where we were placed was less than ideal as we wanted something more intimate since it was our anniversary. I spoke with the host and the manager who promptly looked for at able that would be more intimate. While I was waiting, another manager approached me asking if I needed help, which I thought was excellent. Once seated, the server, Sophie, was so kind and friendly. As I asked for recommendations on the cocktails, she happily provided her personal input, which I appreciated. Once I was served the cocktail that I ordered, she checked to make sure it was what I wanted. This also happened when we ordered the food as she checked on us to ensure we were happy with the food (which cam out quickly and hot - excellent!), pardoning herself as not to interrupt our dinner. I can't say enough about the incredible service received throughout our dining experience. As local of Santa Clara (born and raised), my husband and I will definitely be back and spread he word throughout our friends and community about the food and first class customer service!

I’ve been to Joey multiple times and unfortunately our server was not up to standards. It took over 25 to 30 minutes before the first drink arrived. I wasn’t drinking, but watching my guests that I invited to this restaurant constantly looking around wondering if their drink was ever gonna come was just a start. When it came to ordering food, our waitress took at least another 20 minutes before taking our order we did didn’t get our food well after an hour of sitting down. Then once the food came, she never came back to check to see how everything tasted and I wanted to send my frites back because they were cold. I ended up waiting 15 minutes and then just deciding to eat them. Then, at the end of the night, she comes over and asked how everything was , and I was honest with her, and I told her that the service was really slow tonight instead of taking responsibility she asked me “what about the service was slow” and at that point, I knew she just wasn’t gonna take responsibility or accountability I love going to Joey and I’ve been there at least 10 times since they’ve opened over the last two months and I’ve had the best experiences with my waitresses and the other managers that are there who come over and talk and are very friendly so I don’want to hold this against the entire establishment. If I remembered the girls name, I would have put it on this post, but like last night’s dying experience it was very forgettable.

We love going to Joey and have been to all the locations in SoCal. The food was great, although I feel that the quality of their cocktails went down or maybe it’s just this location. This location was beautifully designed. However, the wait to be seated or reserve a table ahead is pretty unreasonable. I’m hoping this is the case because it just recently opened at the end of April and won’t be the norm after a few months.
