Service was great!
We had a surprisingly good experience at this restaurant. Our service was excellent and food was served very quickly. The food was good, especially the crab pots. Overall we had a great time.
Our first family restaurant outing since March. We went during an off hour around 3 PM. Hardly anyone there. Got a table all by ourselves in a corner with no one sitting anywhere near us. Service was quick and attentive. Everyone appeared to be safely serving and attentive to those around us. It was a very positive experience.
Absolutely wonderful, great service and amazing food. Crab cakes are the best I’ve ever had!
Wanted to catch the sunset with my best guy! There were two very loud parties on both ends of the restaurant. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves.
When we arrived there was no one at the front checking in customers. We waited for nearly 15 minutes and by this time there was already a line of people waiting to check in. Manager came to the front to check in customers and was not very pleasant and seemed bothered. When we finally sat down to eat, the food was a complete disappointment
Our first night out since March and it was worth it. Very clean and felt safe with the family.

Not enough servers, no heat lamps, and customers were allowed to hoot and holler as if it was a loud night club. Avoid on Sunday nights.

Our waiter kept ignoring us and I had to waive him down every time we needed something. He would attend to all the other tables and would walk by ours and not look at us. It's a shame cause We've been going there for years and always have great service. Manager was good about taking care of us afterall
Great family place to eat. Great service and great food.
Food was not good. Our waiter was unprofessional and annoying, kept telling us how tired she was and couldn’t wait to be off. We were on a date and was sat all the way at the end of the (tented parking lot) which seemed the be the section for large families/ gatherings. I don’t have to go here again.

With the new COVID guidelines, the experience was good. Service and food was great. Having a reservation is highly recommended.
The food was okay. The service was not good. The waitress would disappear for long periods of time. We will not go back when we are in town. We should have read the reviews first!
Maybe would recommend but would tel a freind that or service / server sucked, the orders were wrong, the manager was OK, made an attempt to make things right but overall it was not a good day.

Out of several good options including most steam pots, garlic bread and shrimps. Staff did try to resolve as delivery truck was late.
I was pleasantly surprised that the service and food was great. I read reviews at hat the service was poor but my party of 15 was well taken care of. Thanks to my open table reservation they were expecting us and had prepared accordingly.
It was my 22nd wedding anniversary and we just wanted good food and a nice ambiance.
The experience was average. I just wish that they let my cousin keep the Birthday Hat.
We visited Saturday pm. The Front of house staff, especially the head hostess, was not pleasant from the get go.
Then she had us wait for 10 minutes, for no clear reason, even though we had a reservation and the place was 50% empty— and our table was open and clean.
The majority of the staff seemed unhappy with low morale—although our server was chipper. However, she arrived 10 minutes after we were seated.
Atmosphere used to be fun and upbeat with fun bursts of music and dancing when it was someone’s birthday etc. But not last pm.
Then the drinks & food:
My mom’s drink ( speciality) took 10 minutes and so the rest of us were nearly finished with ours once she got hers.
Food: half our order was cold, butter took 3 requests and 10 minutes, crab ‘crackers’ ( utensils) were not delivered for at least 5 minutes, and the meals were served in 3 rotations —so we didn’t eat together.
Queen crab bucket was good but crab cake dinner was poor quality.
Sadly, once considered our family’s special occasion place, is now a place we will cease to visit.
Terrible. We had Landry’s gift cards that showed it was from another Landrys restaurant and were told we can’t use them.
We used them at the Joe’s Crab Shack in San Diego and had no problem.
Also, we had a coupon for a free appetizer.
There was no dollar limit so we ordered a sampler platter. Was told AFTER WE GOT THR BILL that it was only valid for the crab dip!! The waiter took forever to come, took forever to have him come to refill our drinks and FOREVER to get the bill.
Parking was $4... no validation, even for handicap.
We were celebrating our anniversary.
What a disappointment!!
My guest and I were the first customers of the day. Unfortunately, the food served seemed like the last customers of the night. It seemed thrown together and was absolutely tasteless. We wanted the sausage, which was extra, and it was just boiled meat on a saucer. No flavor. Not connected to the meal at all. The Crab was tasteless and the butter did not taste like real butter and it certainly was not fresh what ever it was. The potatoes had no flavor and again just some boiled potatoes thrown on the bottom of the bucket. For $137 for 2 of the same orders, the meal should have had some type of spice as we requested. Red Lobster would have been a better alternative and I do not eat there. I won’t ever return to Joes Crab Shack.

It was good
Love the crab pots but service was seriously off. We had to flag down a waitress. Then when we got our food (crabs), we asked for butter and lemon. Didn't get it and our waitress nowhere to be found. Flagged down a different waitress and asked her. Still no butter/lemon. The manager came by and asked how our meal was. We asked her also. A few minutes later our waitress came by with butter. No lemon. We asked again for lemon and she said we didn't ask for that. Seriously, now we are going to argue about what I asked for? Nevermind, the crab is almost eaten anyway. These are really small things but make the experience less than pleasant for what we paid.
Food was great as always.
Service was slow out on the patio and there was minimal lighting - we basically ate in the dark.
Maybe some candles or more outdoor lighting would help.
The umbrellas blocked off most of the light.
Also, patio service was short staffed.
I made reservations and had a conformation # and they did they said the system was down it was my birthday so I was really excited I had been in the hospital so I was excited to be home and able to eat the food that I love was an able to enjoy my meal I had a free dessert which they forgot to give me I was just disappointed and sad at the same time manager was not helpful at all
Horrible horrible service. Took forever to get anything and they were slow. Theres better options. I never leave bad reviews this place deserved it
