   Establishment would not accept my daughter state government ID to purchase alcohol because it was sideways issue by NC state also food value was very low then previous year and not worth the price, will not return or recommend to anyone!

   My sister and I have never been to Joe's Crab Shack before. I must say, it was a pleasant experience. From the moment we entered, to the time we left ,we both felt welcome. The location was very clean as well as the restrooms. The food was hot. Our server gave great service and he was very energetic and pleasant. We will definitely be coming back again! 10/10 experience!

   We got the crab boil. The dungeoness and snow crab legs taste old, not fresh at all. Meat was dry and taste freezer burned. The rest of the food was good.

   It was okay, not great. We both ordered the sailor’s catch of shrimp cooked 3 ways. It all tasted the same and much like the calamari too. Very unusual dipping sauce for the calamari- something like chunky salsa. Joe’s used to be so much better. But our server gave excellent service.

   Unfortunately every thing I ordered came out wrong. From my cocktail to putting sauce’s on things we ordered plain. The bread came after we ate I think there was no attention to any detail.

   Unfortunately, my daughter’s rare steak was more medium, her mashed potatoes were very cold and my boyfriend’s fried fish was not crispy enough. The waitress was nice and efficient and since we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, she was nice enough to ask if we wanted them to do a birthday shoutout.

    Our table was ready when we arrived and got seated quickly. The food was tasty and came out hot and fresh. The portion sizes were good and we had some leftovers. Our server, Aaron, was knowledgeable and friendly.
