   We travel from Southern California each year for our anniversary. We always plan a night at Jockos. Service is always top notch. If you leave hungry that's your fault

   Excellent service, all staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was outstanding, best steak I have eaten in this area. Would recommend you reserve a time for dinner soon.

   Just ate here the other night and it was ok. Came again tonight with my wife and son and let me first preface this with the fact that we have eaten here a lot over the years. We all ordered the 20 ounce New York medium rare and probably some of the toughest meat I have ever been served. I’m a real steak aficionado and know my meat. I order Allen Brothers Prime New York’s regularly from Chicago, some excellent meat. The steaks we got at Jocko’s, I don’t expect prime, weren’t even choice, somewhere at the low end of quality. None of us finished our steaks and don’t plan on coming back anytime soon. Some of the toughest meat I’ve ever encountered out, certainly not choice, tough to cut, full of silver skin. Salad, beans, salsa, bread all ok, but does not warrant a return trip anytime soon. Shame on you JOCKO’S for serving this crap!!!

   Much much improved, obviously trying to restore their past glory, I would definitely recommend and am re-adding them back as a regular when at the Central Coast, they have the right hostesses seating and handling reservations, friendly accommodating Servers and a good kitchen!!

   It's not as good as it used to be. Prices are up a lot, and the house wine is not as good as it should be. The meat quality and size were less than on previous visits. I will still go if I am in the area, but I will order more carefully. It is good that they take reservations now for a shorter wait.

   Fabulous steaks, perfectly cooked over charcoal ... with a vast menu of many alternates and sides. The best ever Paquinto Beans. Friendly service, The atmosphere is not dressy, no tablecloths, and plain silverware ... a customer base of locals who like to eat dinner early. The parking lot is full at 5PM. Not a date night atmosphere, but great food and sports TV in the bar area. One of a kind.

    well right off the back hostess was very sweet and letting us seat early because we came from up north . wanted to celebrate my husband birthday. i let the waitress know but was very passive and didnt says anything to my husband. i also let her know that it was our first time there and didnt make any attempt to welcome us.
