We offer a 4 course menu designed by Chef /owner Susan Dunlop, which includes distinctive American cuisine . We offer only the finest ingredients, sourced locally when possible. Maître d'/owner Joan Schmitt (and Highland Park native) offers first-class hospitality.                                             Went for our anniversary. The staff was fabulous, everyone wished us happy anniversary and Joan gave us champagne. While spreading little hearts on our table. It was fun! It is spendy, especially with 2 wine flights and desserts, but fine for an occasional celebration.

                                            Celebrated our anniversary at Joan's in the Park. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne, hearts on our table and they took a keepsake photo of us. The food was outstanding. Each course was flawlessly executed and absolutely delicious. The service was great as was the lovely setting. I'd highly recommend a visit here.

                                            We have celebrated our anniversary at Joan’s in the Park for the past 6 years. Our dinners have consistently been outstanding. Beautifully presented and delicious. Service impeccable. Our courses this year were chocolate babka, Bagna cauda (bread course), chicken liver mousse, masa dumplings, farro salad, striped bass and a porterhouse cut lamb chop. Of course, we’ll be back next year, and hopefully before then.

                                            We had loved our dinner at Joan’s 3 months ago and had friends coming into town. We were doubtful we could match the wonderful experience we’d had previously, but we were wrong. The food was exquisite and the service unparalleled in this beautiful and quaint restaurant. Joan provides the perfect evening, watching over us while our friendly and professional server did the rest. And Chef Susan’s courses were one better than the next. We ordered a large variety amongst the 4 of us and there wasn’t anything we would change. Thanks for another extraordinary dinner and evening.
