We offer a 4 course menu designed by Chef /owner Susan Dunlop, which includes distinctive American cuisine . We offer only the finest ingredients, sourced locally when possible. Maître d'/owner Joan Schmitt (and Highland Park native) offers first-class hospitality. This was the best dinning experience that we can remember. Joan and her entire team helped make my wife’s Birthday the best. My wife is a foodie and gluten free and the experience was lights out. Highly recommend for a romantic or anytime night out! Thank you, Joan and team. 🙏

Just fantastic. It’s really a hidden gem in the neighborhood. After hitting new “hot spots” around the metro, it’s funny to realize food just as good or better is in the Highland Park neighborhood. The fish special tonight was especially delicious. Also enjoy the prix fixe style menu.

We had an excellent experience yet again. Food is excellent and unique, the settling and staff are wonderful and the whole experience is always so enjoyable! Would highly recommend Joan’s in the Park!

Overall a lively, charming restaurant. The food was delicious. It would have been nice to have a little bit more quantity. We did have a nice time.
