Larry took amazing care of us and suggested some fabulous dishes and cocktails. 10/10. Can’t wait to return on my next trip to Aspen! The patio was extremely warm and an amazing vibe.
Our party of 6 had no wait time for our 7 pm Tuesday reservation. The place was packed and loud. The wait staff was attentive. The food was amazing -- lots of vegetarian options for 1/2 our crew. The best place we ate the whole week in Aspen.
I went specifically for 2 things and at 7:30 they were out of the duck and the fish. They told me we have to book it with the reservation but nobody said anything at the time
Excellent everything....Frank is the best! Will be back soon
Best sushi in aspen. We love getting the dumpling platter, aspen roll, and surf and turf roll. Frank is the best!!!
Great local spot with good food. We always come back when in town.
Perfect Meal - no other words to describe !
Wonderful food & experience. Service was amazing as well! Highly recommend
Good food, amazing service. Highly Recommend this place.
Not at all Covid-19 friendly per local ordinance and regulations. We had a reservation and were seated early which was nice except for being seated 2 feet from the adjacent tables, one of which was a large party. There is NO way Jing was at or under 25% capacity nor adhering to Pitkin County guidelines. Mask wearing by patrons was non-existent and social distancing wasn't even a consideration. The food is incredible--some of the best in Aspen but the lack of concern for patron safety and complete disregard for local regulations was severely disappointing.
Our family chose this as our last meal of the vacation and it was the best meal yet! They loved the food and the sushi was phenomenal. Thanks for a great dinner!
My family and I love Jing and have gone to sit at the bar frequently since Jing first opened. The manager and staff are lovely and accommodating and the food is perfection!
This isn’t just a sushi bar, though the sushi was spectacular. The Jing signature sashimi was excellent. But between Peking duck roll and wagu dumplings we got a great assortment. We loved the filet mignon, a great example of “the unexpected” offerings.
Xmas evening
Great experience. Great service and delicious food. We felt very safe. They kept all protocols.
Outstanding food, great service, great classic Kobe beef on stone and the french oignions dim sum a true surprise!
💪very delicious!!!
Amazing food!!! Overall need to go
We love Jing! Great food, great service!
Family day after Thanksgiving dinner!! Was delicious and thank you Frank for the he fun Sake Bomb!!
Amazing food and service
Fabuloso Japanese / Caton cuisine..!!!
Awesome service and experience!
We came for the happy hour and left super happy. The service was amazing. The food great. We went twice and enjoyed every thing we ordered each time. Their drinks are great and the bartender Hunter was a pleasure.
Always good!!
Attentive service. Modern decor. We thought a bit overpriced but it’s Aspen. We enjoyed the spicy filet mignon, the lamb chops were overcooked. We weren’t in the mood for sushi. Most everything served was nicely presented.
Nice lunch always yummy.
We sat at a table near the bar. Not a bad table. But the bartender was our waiter & he was distracted by his other chores. Waiters would come up to him while he waited on us & ask him questions. He stopped talking to us mid sentence to address them. We were treated poorly. We had to wear our coats because the front door was propped open all night & the restaurant was cold. I won’t go back. We go out often. This place is below average for hospitality.
Great food...may be the best oysters on the half shell I have ever had! Our server was lovely.
We got one appetizer that was $20 for three dumplings
We both got one dish each and one drink each
Overall we spent $160 on this and still needed to go get food afterwards because we were still hungry lol.
This place is a rip off and their dish is full of filler like rice and vegetable instead of the proteins you’re ordering.
Great and inventive asian fusion. Service was okay, felt a bit rushed.
The food was very good, but expensive. The service was also very good. We were disappointed that the restaurant was out of small bottle sakes, so we ended up sharing a 750ml bottle. We were seated outside along the street, so the noise level was moderate. We will definitely dine here again. Three of us felt the restaurant compared favorably with the other high-end Japanese restaurants in town.
The sushi is amazing and the outdoor dining worked well during the challenging time.
We chose a really great assortment of sushi that was very fresh and presented nicely. It seemed a bit pricey, but everything in Aspen is expensive. For 5 people, we ordered 5 different plates of sushi and an order of dumplings and spring rolls. It was satisfying and filled us up without feeling stuffed. I will definitely go back the next time we're in Aspen.
The food was excellent (a bit pricey but it is Aspen afterall). I did have a big complaint however in that the tables inside were literally 2 feet apart. No social distancing at all, just open the windows and consider it good? I blame this however on Aspen as they should be enforcing this more strictly. It was shocking. We sat outside and did feel the tables were more spaced out but probably still too close.
Amazing food
Great experience
Will definitely visit each time in aspen
Requested and received outside seating in early October. Hostess was very helpful and pleasant. After reading other reviews we reserved the Peking Duck and whole crispy fish. Both were excellent choices that we would order again without hesitation. Overall a great dining experience.
The food and service was great, but everything has changed in this time of Covid.
The restaurant and patio were packed.
It didn't look like they had moved any tables from normal business and definitely were not adhering to any 6 foot rules.
We were not comfortable and it was obvious that many other groups were equally not.
Great variety and pricing was on par with similar sushi type restaurants. Try the soup dumplings!
Amazing owner! Our waitress was amazing. Food was great. Great vibe!
