   Ate at Jimmy's to both celebrate and lament it closing down this weekend. The food at Jimmy's was consistently good and the bar menu (pre-COVID) an exceptional deal. My favorite dishes are the Mad Dog Salad and the crab cakes. Perfection!

   we sat on the balcony overlooking the city. Nice view and weather was awesome. A great place to eat dinner. Unfortunately they are selling to a new owner, I hope they keep it the same.

   We started our meal with cocktails and let me tell you Jimmy’s knows how to pour a good drink. We shared the crab cake, which was probably the best I’ve ever had. I asked the waiter if the chef would share the recipe and was told it was online — not. We both had steaks: my friend ordered the filet medium and I ordered the New York medium rare. On the first go ‘round the chef apparently confused the cooking times: my friend’s was a perfect medium rare and mine was a perfect medium. On the next try, my friend’s was perfect, but mine was “black and blue”. On the third try it came out rare. Finally it came out a perfect medium rare. Unfortunately my friend was pretty much done with her meal, while all I had had were the side dishes (which were great). But the NY was worth the wait — one of the very best steaks I have ever had. The service was absolutely horrible. It seemed as if our waiter was trying to ignore us. It wasn’t that he was busy — he stepped out onto the patio several times during the course of the evening. Overall, it’s a shame that Aspen is losing this restaurant.

   Jimmy's is about to close but is going out in style. We had a nice dinner with good service from both waiter and concierge. Farewell!

   Very fun & lively atmosphere. Service was hustling & very nice service. We are the Trout & roasted chicken both were amazing and delicious. We also had the chocolate chip cookies, cookie jar was the best while finishing our red wine. Great night!!

   Awesome time with Sonny! Great meal, loved the outdoor seating and thanks for the wine suggestions. This was our first visit and sad to hear it will be our last while closing soon

   So sad they're closing up shop! A hell of a run! Oliver was a wonderful server. Food was amazing.

    This has been on our favorite must go list for years, but we were disappointed with our dinner there this year. My wife’s trout was extra fishy and not as good as previous visits. Her side of Kale was way over cooked and was just a blob on her plate. My sister-in-laws mushroom entree was pretty tasteless. I was also disappointed about the lack of less expensive wines on there wine list. It wouldn’t be all that hard to have a few bottles of decent wines that cost less than $100.
