Jikoni's menu is guided by Chef Patron and award-winning food writer Ravinder Bhogal, who’s delicate hand with flavours and global mixed-heritage cooking can be seen in the dishes. Around half of the menu is vegetarian and much of Jikoni’s produce, wines and even teas are sourced from artisan and sustainable family producers.

The restaurant is a culinary gem for foodies and frequented by off-duty chefs, restaurant types, and locals. Jikoni is nestled into the heart of London’s Marylebone neighbourhood, just a 5 minute walk from both Selfridges and Baker Street.

The food and the drinks were amazing. The crispy aubergine dish and the prawns were worth mentioning in particular. We went with our eight year old and the staff were very accommodating in tailoring the dishes to suit a child's palette. Very pleased with the meal and the service.

Arrived slightly late but were shown right to our table, service was friendly and informative. The menu was varied but not to the extent that we struggled to make our selections. Every mouthful of every course was superb, the spicy elements of each plate were perfect, robust enough to taste, but not so strong that it effected any of the more subtle flavours. The scrag end pie. (an exotic shepherds pie) was the star of the show for me, with the venison samosas a very close second. Loved it and can’t wait to go again.

A delightful Sun lunch experience at Jikoni. The ambience is lovely with Kenyan Indian influences and the food was uniquely flavourful. I was also impressed by the attentive service and they catered to our small requests. Slighly more generous portion sizes and a little more variety in the lunch menu will make it even better. All in all, a great experience!

Layout of the seating is very tight, understand they want to put as many tables as possible but under current covid situation, a bit unwise. The food was okay, nothing really impressive to make me want to go back.

First time at Jikoni since the lock-down ended. Wonderful as ever. Food and service were both excellent and the chef's ability to create beautiful dishes with subtle flavours is still there. Loved all the dishes, but the Lobster Moile deserves a special mention - it was outstanding. Thank you for a lovely 20th anniversary dinner.

Great to return to Jikoni post lock-down! It's our third time dining with them so we were keen to go back and support the team as we just love their African/South Asian/Middle Eastern fusion cuisine and their very personable team. The food here is really unique - in the very best possible way and there's nothing like it that we're tried around London. The fusion of flavours from various parts of the world just somehow all work together and the food is really creative and delicious. The serving team are super friendly and I'd encourage diners to ask them to explain the dishes you're interested in as they can take you on an interesting journey through the history of the dishes and the ingredients.
