Great meal. The wine pairings were good. Erika was an excellent server. Very good experience.
Birthday celebration!! Everything was outstanding! Dan was our server and did a superb job.
Everything was absolutely amazing!!
My boyfriend and I ate at Jianna for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. They acknowledged our anniversary nicely and the food was wonderful. I will definitely be returning.
had a great time and the food was great!
Incredible experience yet again!
Carmen was our server. She was extremely knowledgeable and spaced all of our courses out to perfection!
All of her recommendations were on point!
Oyster were delicious as was the whipped Ricotta with honey!
We had several different courses paired with wine.
Each were unique and special.
We can't wait to return!
Thank you for a fabulous evening!
Great food, friendly service, stellar location. Went during restaurant week so I don’t know what the prices are normally but we got a great deal! We’ll be going again for sure
Thank you so much for your kind words and loyalty! We appreciate your feedback and look forward to serving you again soon. Best regards, Andrea Ciavardini General Manager
We visited during restaurant week. It was crowded and noisy but not so much that we were unable to have a conversation. The food was good. We ordered the Scallops and Steak entrees. I was expecting a side of potatoes and mushrooms to come with the steak. It is not a side. It was perhaps a total of 2 chopped mushrooms and 3 cut up very small potatoes. You should either order a salad or side to go with your entree. My husband's entree had 3 scallops on it for his meal. We had the desserts. It was included in the restaurant week price. My husband commented that if he had paid $8 for the chocolate tart that he would have been upset. It was the size of a single KitKat bar. Our server was outstanding. We never wanted for anything. The service is great, the atmosphere is lively and the food portion is smaller fare in our opinion. I will visit again but am better informed on how to order.
Food is delicious. The staff is attentive. The restaurant open making it a little noisy when they are busy. Definitely get a reservation and ask your server to slow down a little to give you a better chance to enjoy a multi course meal.
our server was awesome. very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging.
A couple friends and I went for restaurant week! The service is great and the food is always exceptional. Great restaurant. A little pricey, but the quality and atmosphere are wonderful.
Great dinner as usual
Best restaurant in Greenville. Everything is amazing.
Loved my entree! Pear salad was amazing. First time but will be ack.
The only decent place in town for oysters.
Otherwise, the food is adequate. Northern Italian influenced fare.
Heavily Italian based wine menu. $20 corkage.
Amazing food. Finally, a great Italian restaurant in Greenville!!!
I celebrated my birthday at Jianna. I couldn’t have chosen a better place. We were seated on the balcony with perfect view of Falls Park, and kept warmed by an outdoor heater. The Red Snapper is a true gem! The flavor, balance, and texture made this my favorite Res Snapper I have ever had. I do wish they had a charcuterie board with both meat and cheese. They had prosciutto or a cheese board. The roasted pear salad is my new favorite salad. I loved the dressing used. The bathrooms are very clean. All of the staff was amazing, especially the hostess who cleared a table and took multiple pictures of my mom and I to ensure we had the perfect shot. The staff signed a special birthday menu and gave me a wooden ladle with Jianna engraved. I recommend this place for any occasion especially birthdays!
We tried several dishes, but we came for oysters -- and were more than ready to pay higher prices for the best. It was disappointing to receive a plate of the smallest oysters I've ever seen in my life. Won't be back for oysters! But maybe something else next time...
Everything was wonderful. Was very happy with the entire experience and look forward to going back again soon.
Excellent as always
First time at restaurant week here and would definitely go back! Everything was amazing!
Outstanding Service from our waitperson Jennifer! She was attentive and had great knowledge of the menu offerings.
Food as always is just spectacular! I had the Scallops with Polenta, Kale and Tomato. Sometimes Scallops can be overcooked but not at Jianna. They were cooked perfectly! I would highly reccommend the Riccotto drizzled with honey on toast for an appetizer.
Friendly service, great food. We enjoyed a long brunch, looking out at the street scene while having great conversation. We’ll be back again!!
It was my girlfriend and I’s anniversary and I had actually proposed to her before dinner. So fiancé I should say.
I had messaged the staff at Jianna before hand exposing that we were getting engaged and asked if they could do anything special, like a couple glasses of Prosecco and a serving of their ricotta crostini’s (both are her favorite)
They delivered! They had a menu printed for us with congratulations printed on it, the general manager came and congratulated us. Handed us a each a glass of Prosecco and an order of the ricotta crostini’s (which are the most amazing things you’ll ever eat) and congratulated us.
We enjoyed dinner, processed everything and at the end they handed us this Jianna wooden spoon with a menu signed by the staff.
It helped make a special night more special.
Tables for 2 were too close to neighboring tables. Could barely get through the opening to sit on the bench side and I’m not a large person
We are regulars here and always order the steak. It’s always incredible! On this night it was very tough to chew and was actually cold. I think it may have been pre cooked due to restaurant week (which we were unaware of). But other than that, this is one of our top favorites in Greenville.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Especially the Carbonara. We are planning on returning next Saturday. The Bolognese was excellent as was. Service was excellent as well.
Most wonderful Italian food there is in South Carolina. Our server Rick, was so delightful and nice. We came to the veal osso bucco night and I have been blown away. The food, the wine and the all over experience was fabulous.
Thank you so much for taking the time to send your feedback and your kind words. I am so glad you enjoyed your experience. I am also happy to hear that Rik took such great care of you. We hope to see you again soon. Best regards, Andrea Ciavardini General Manager
The restaurant presented us with menus that had “Happy birthday” printed on top. Very charming. The osso Buco special was outstanding absolutely delicious, my guests pasta with braised and shredded chicken was very poorly executed – there was a flavor profile that felt like it was out of a can or a spice mix.... very disappointing. In keeping with the happy birthday theme they kindly placed a slab of chocolate with happy birthday written on it on our shared desert and presented a wooden spoon to the guest of honor which was really lovely. So kudos for all the tender loving care I must say the cheesecake that we had for dessert had been made a while ago the texture was really off… Between us we only had a couple of bites.
End of year company party
We normally love Jianna’s but this time the food was disappointing. We have eaten here several times and each time the food has been wonderful. Tonight the pasta dish was over salty and lacking something. The fried risotto appetizer was over cheesy. We did mention it to our server.
Staff is great, friendly and helpful. The wine list extensive.
If you go in good weather try and reserve a table on the balcony.
My wife and I very much enjoyed our anniversary dinner here! I put that we were celebrating that in our reservation and the staff prepared some nice details, including "Happy Anniversary" custom menus, a branded wooden kitchen spoon, and one of our menus signed by the staff. Our server was very helpful and knowledgable about working with our dietary restrictions (GF and Vegan), as well as pairing wines with the dishes we ordered. The gluten-free pasta was delicious and perfectly al dente - not an easy feat! It was wonderful to be able to enjoy a nice dinner out without stressing or worrying about food safety or potential sickness after.
The food that was served correctly was very good. Unfortunately, my husband was served the wrong sandwich. When he told the server it was not what he ordered assured my husband that it was pork and not chicken. It was indeed chicken but the server never checked. Since we were under time constraints my husband chose to eat the chicken sandwich rather than ask for the manager. My husband also ordered a coffee he never received but was charged for. They did remove that charge.
This place just goes from excellence to excellence. Went for our second anniversary. Personalized menus, acknowledgement of our special occasion - coupled with consistently incredible food and always good service, make it my go to place in Greenville.
Did not like the seating layout but we came for the food and the food was delicious, really outstanding.
Another great experience at Jianna. The food was a treat and service was attentive. I wish more restaurants were ran like this place.
Good service and ambience and some good things on the menu... Seashell pasta was kinda bland and chicken dish was wayyy too salty . Oysters were solid and drinks were on point. For the price paid, we expected the entrees to be better!
