   Food was good and server very understanding We had made reservations in advance but we were kept waiting for a table while diners without reservations were seated ahead. Hostess was rude When finally we were only offered a table in a back even tho tables in main dining area were available There was a large party with VERY UNRULY CHILDREN who were of age to know better than to scream and chase each other around snd parents that did absolutely nothing about it. Manager was not sympathetic and offered inadequate reason for us being seated there and told us we could move to s back booth. No one even offered assistance to help move our drinks and plates to the new table We have never been treated so rudely by a manager who could have cared less about service and wld never recommend this restaurant which is a shame because the food is good so sad they don’t realize the importance of service.

   Went slightly early for our 9:30 pm reservation and were seated quickly. We ordered a tempura shrimp sushi roll and shrimp fried rice as well as beef and broccoli in a rich brown sauce served with steamed white rice. All our food was well prepared and delicious. Also, each had a specialty cocktail which were both right on spot!

   Jia is a good restaurant. The food is tasty. We have been there twice and no complaints there. Now - if they have reservation slots on OpenTable 9:30/9:45/10 pm timeframes, it looks as if (especially being part of a casino) they wouldn’t be so put-out at a 9:30 reservation coming in. Kitchen (we were told by server) closed at 10 that night (I could tell the server was exhausted as many are these days)….I’m assuming maybe we were the last reservation that night - and late reservations aren’t the norm? Host working that evening needs to learn how to welcome guests with a greeting and smile as opposed to looking bothered and running his hands through his greasy hair before grabbing our menus. Food and atmosphere are good, though. 👍

   Food and wait staff was excellent but do not expect to be seated early when you have a reservation. My reservation was for 9:30 pm. I arrived at 9:00 and was not seated until almost 10pm.

   Mongolian Ribeye was very tatsy. I really enjoy the flavor. Service was outstanding.

   Jia has excellent sushi and traditional Chinese dishes. It used to have my family's all-time favorite restaurant dessert - Asian donuts with 3 dipping sauces (chocolate ganache, blackberry and ginger cream cheese). We all really wish they would bring it back. We would eat there at least once a month if they did.
