Disappointing. Food was mediocre at best. For example, on my 5 course fixed price dinner my appetizer was to be a small plate of elk. I literally received a two inch piece of elk (I presume) jerky over a blueberry sauce. While that was the low point, the next three courses were okay, but ordinary and nothing special - all at a premium price. The service was excellent and the ambience beautiful.

Based on the price, our experience was very poor. We had called ahead of time to find out about their dress codes. We were told "Sunday Best" so the men wore jackets and the women dressed up. Upon arrival there were people dining in T-shirts, shorts and flip flops. Several men were wearing baseball caps. So we felt totally over dressed. There is basically no dress code. There were lots of waiters and service people but for whatever reason out waiter, who was very nice, seemed indifferent. We had to send a bus boy to get him when we wanted to order a second round of drinks. The drinks cost a minimum of $23 (which is fine in a good restaurant) but our drinks were what we all considered extremely small. A scotch on the rocks had just one jigger. A manhattan came in a glass at most one third full. We all commented this was ridiculous. They served us a coupe of amuse-bouche items which were interesting and nice. But then came the appetizers which were no bigger than the amuse-bouche. I had a duck confit that could easily fit in a thimble. Their "special salad" was likewise very small. The entree's were fine but not outstanding. Their special soup was very good but the serving was probably 3/4 of cup. We knew the price would be high and the cost was pretty much the only thing that met our expectations. This is not fine dining.

Another wonder meal and experience at Jenny Lake Lodge. We bring all first time Grand Teton Park visitors to lunch at Jenny Lake Lodge after some morning hiking. The staff, food and service are delightful.

Returned after 20 years! Everything was great. Nice table location. Great service by Cam. Great food. We had bison French dip and the Rainbow trout. Took a short walk after at lake lookout! Very good time!

A hidden gem. Iconic log cabin located in the middle of a meadow. Outstanding lunch with 1st class lunch menu. Reasonably priced and extensive well prepared menu. This is a MUST lunch spot.

Friendly attentive staff. They went the extra mile to accommodate us with three young children and arriving just before the kitchen closed. Food variety were all great.

This place is always nice, if not great, but the chefs options this night were not to our liking. They only offer 4 a night, on rotating 5 day menu. The night before was great. We will see about tonight.
