Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar has been an Austin fine dining institution since 1975. In 2012 the restaurant closed for a major renovation and was reopened by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. The legendary restaurant, nestled in the Clarksville neighborhood just west of downtown, features a lively bar and three distinct dining rooms. The menus, from executive chef Mark McCain, features dry-aged prime steaks, updated classic fine dining, and locally sourced produce. The award-winning wine list, one of the largest and most diverse in Texas, features highly-sought after vintages from Old and New World producers. Private dining in the Napoleon Room and The Apartment is available for special events. Valet service is offered.

The charming neighborhood location, old world service & multiple private dining options make Jeffrey's a true Austin gem. Jeffrey's was named “Top 10 Best New Restaurants” in the country by Bon Appetit magazine in 2013.

Carlos and Zack were so brilliant! Carlos was the perfect host from start to finish, offering suggestions and making our experience special. He really went above and beyond and was so easy to talk to. I took my gf here to celebrate her film being selected for a film festival and they made sure to make it feel like a celebration. The food and ambiance are always top tier. You can tell every single aspect of the place is carefully curated. I love the candlelight and comfortable seating. And the extensive wine list (even tho I always just get bubbles lol) I’ve come here for my birthday before. Also a great place for a solo date. Safe to say it’s one of my favorite places. I wish the croquettes came with at least 4 cause they are so good. I could eat 10 of them. Lol Besides that everything is worth every penny. Also the music is always so nice. It’s like they have my playlist. Immaculate. Truly. I’ll be back soon. (:

Very loud table of 8 next to us. I’m disappointed they were not politely asked to turn down the volume. Crab appetizer OK not thing special. Caesar was drowning in dressing! No crutons. My Ribeye was excellent. Her fish was very good. Bread puffs exceptional. J Carvers > Jeffrey’s

Tired same old menu. We need some new entrees and appetizers. Also need to be notified when main courses are served that the soufflés take 20 minutes so order if you want one.
