    We stayed at the Omni Homestead to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Meal started with a complementary champagne toast and ended with a delicious birthday dessert. In between the kitchen and staff did a great job of splitting our (generous) salad and perfectly cooked New York strip. If not for the 3 hour drive we’d definitely go back for another meal.

    Amazing! We dined with my 5 year old with multiple food allergies. I spoke with Chef Green by phone earlier in the week. He personally prepared my son’s safe dinner in a separate kitchen following all food allergy protocols and hand delivered to our table. This is the first time my little boy has eaten any food that wasn’t brought from home because the risk of cross contamination is too high. He was absolutely thrilled and I shed a few tears. Our server, Neville, was excellent and attentive. We had filet cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious, with the lobster Mac and cheese being a favorite. Drinks were fantastic. We love the Homestead and dine at Jefferson’s every time we are here! Five stars!

    We had another great experience at Jefferson’s…the food was outstanding; two of our party got the duck which was cooked properly and delicious. The steak was terrific as always. The service was outstanding!

    My wife and I eat there while vacationing at the Homestead and thoroughly enjoyed it. She had the filet and I chose the strip steak. Both were cooked properly and we really enjoyed the seasoning and crust on the steak. Our server Chip was so good and made the dinner so much more memorable. He saw us the next day while not in the restaurant and recognized us and wished us well. Ask for Chip, you won’t be disappointed.

    The most flavorful and tender filet I have eaten in years. Caesar dressing on the salad is the best. And the aioli sauce on the onion rings adds a whole new dimension.

    Everything was great, with the exception of the kids running around…but that’s just bad parenting and not the restaurant’s fault. Everything else was perfect, and absolutely loved it. Especially Amber; and exceptional server and professional!!!

    The noise level was a little high but we were quickly moved to a quieter area as soon as we requested it. Our waiter, Gil, was outstanding. He was very attentive and anticipated our needs and requests.

    This was our first visit to Jefferson’s since the Omni takeover of The Homestead. It was…awful. They’ve done away with any sort of dress code and all types of high end service - which, don’t get me wrong, is fine if they charged Applebees prices. -Standard chain Applebees quality AT BEST. -Applebees standard clientele AT BEST. It’s just…an Applebees…for Capital Grille priced fare. Avoid.

    The quality of the food and service were both top notch. However, I would say the cost was a little pricey. $75 for a Ribeye, a La cart, is a bit much. With that said, expect this kind of pricing when you eat at a high end resort.

    Excellent selections & superb service. When restaurant knew we were celebrating our anniversary, we received complimentary champagne & cheesecake for dessert. Select Restaurant over Taproom unless dining with young children.

    Our meal was absolutely outstanding. Oscar was our waiter and he was on point with his recommendations. We told him which bottle of wine we were interested in and he had us taste our choice and another (at the same price point) he thought would pair better with our meals. My husband loved the black truffle NY strip and I loved the duck. We also got the Mexican chocolate cake for dessert and Oscar surprised us with complimentary champagne since it was our honeymoon. The meal was pricy but the food was outstanding and the service was second to none. We will be back again for future celebrations.

    Our server was not what I’d expect from a restaurant of this price bracket. He seemed rushed, didn’t introduce himself or even ask if we wanted drinks or tell us at all about the restaurant/specials. The lobster tail tasted almost freezer burnt and the the NY strip lacked flavor. I’d try it again but definitely disappointed from my initial visit.

    We had really high expectations for this restaurant, especially given the prices. I got a piece of salmon that was average. The kitchen did modify a no-dairy request for me which was good. My husband got the truffle steak but the presentation was puzzling. There were black, charcoal-like chips on top of the steak. For the life of me we couldn’t figure out if it was fried garlic or shaved truffle. We’ve had both and this garnish looked like small. charcoal chips. It was very strange. Our server disappeared and we had to ask someone to find him, huge downer. He didn’t check in after the food was dropped. If he had, we would have asked about the steak topping. We left a 10% tip which is so out of character, especially because I’ve both served and tended bar in the past. We so desperately wanted to love this restaurant but the prices & service simply don’t match.

    Our server was very good, but unfortunately she had to set up a table for 14 twice while serving us. She was as attentive as she could be under the circumstances. The food was good but very overpriced. At their price point you expect better food and more selections.
