    Everything was delicious- it’s hard to choose. We shared a NY Strip & mashed potatoes so that we could try more appetizers. We had the Herbstreit sushi roll, chilled shrimp and crab legs and crab bisque. All fabulous!

    Great restaurant experience for our anniversary. Our sever Samuel took great care of us. Food was excellent. The restaurant was pretty loud (even on a weeknight) so just a note if you're looking for a more intimate dinner.

    It was an absolutely sub par experience. Not only were we stuck in an endless sales cycle from the waiting staff but the food didn’t measure up in the slightest. While certain dishes were ok, each of our steaks were served cold and distinctly lacking flavor. Within the first moments of the meal our conversation shifted to what our actual favorite restaurants were as this one ultimately proved to be a money grab taking advantage of the Jeff Ruby name and more so the clientele. Despite the experience mentioned above we made our best effort to enjoy the evening and not complain as we had ordered quite a bit of food. Most of the rest of the staff were actually delightful. Do your best and avoid this place. It’s over hyped and not worth the money. You may or may not get your car back if you Valet

    We enjoyed our first visit for a family celebration. Everything from the kitchen was great, and our table service and JUSTIN was exceptional! We will be back again because the steaks beat everything we had in Nashville, in the 20+ years we have been here. We only wish our table was in a quieter location.

    It was good. The portions seem to be smaller this visit. The sides are smaller and my branzino was so thin and small that it was dry.

    Our server, Mr. Stephen, was absolutely phenomenal!! We are returning customers and it was our first time having him, and we put in our clientele notes that we would love to have him every time!! So incredibly personable and professional. We had been away for several months, the menu had gone through changes, and it was way better than we remembered! We had fish and chicken, no red meat, and will come back as soon as possible for those dishes! Such a fun and classy ambience as well.

    We were given a table in the very back of the restaurant near the bathrooms It was my birthday and provided that information prior. Would have preferred to sit closer to the front to enjoy the piano player and a lively crowd. Otherwise the service and food were very good

    Wait staff is top notch. Beef dish was great, according to my husband. Mac n’ cheese superb. The wedge salad was delicious. Unfortunately, my salmon was average and nit very hot- temperature wise.

    Food was really good. Service was just Eh. Getting water filled was a bit of a chore. A few times we had empty drinks (water and other) for 10-15 minutes and had to flag someone down to get refills. We observed other tables with exceptional attention so we probably just had the wrong server that night. For a more upscale establishment I guess we just expected a little more. Not the end of the world but just noteworthy.

    Wonderful service from beginning to end of our dinner. Our reservation table was ready upon arrival and staff quickly got our party settled. Music and Ambiance were the perfect touch. Best steak we have ever had! Everything we ordered was delicious. Will be returning when in the city!

    Sam was absolutely exceptional as we came to celebrate our anniversary. He was complemented by Lindsey who is going to make an exceptional server as well. Since it was our first time to the restaurant, he did a great job, reviewing the menu while providing some personal favorites, but also listening to our preferences and guiding us through the meal. For sure we will be back, and we will certainly seek him out!

    Everything was great...I had the blackened ribeye with the crawfish topper. The steak was perfect but the crawfish topper was too salty.

    This was our second time going and the waiters still knew our names from the first time, but every time was amazing the people are great and the service was amazing, it has live music and the atmosphere is great, the food is always amazing.

    Nice to be able to walk in with a reservation, but there are better steakhouses in nashville. For this price, the food wasn’t anything special. Husband got the burger, which was good!! I got the bourbon steak, which comes with cheddar grits and shrimp. The steak was good. Not fantastic, but a good steak. The grits had obviously been plated well before the steak. They had a bit of a film on top of them. For sides we got the Mac and cheese and Brussels. Again, both were fine. Not bad, but not fantastic. At this price level, I’m expecting fantastic, and Jeff Ruby disappointed. Would definitely recommend other steakhouses at this price point over Jeff Ruby in the future.

    We’ve gone to Jeff Ruby’s for 7 years on our wedding anniversary. It is always a special experience, but our most recent might be our favorite. Our server team of Sam and Jermaine was simply outstanding. Professional, helpful but also extremely personable and fun to talk to. What a wonderful place to dine and celebrate special occasions. Couldn’t recommend enough!

    The food was good but for the first time, not perfect. The Steak Diane was too salty and not cooked to order. Our table was in a traffic area so we were often interrupted by other customers too close to us.

    Beautifully decorated high end restaurant with a great menu and wine list. Great appetizers, entrees and deserts. The salads were great. Chocolate cake was outstanding. Service was so-so and entrees took too long to arrive. They seemed to be understaffed as the manager was running around helping to clear tables and serving. Our waiter seemed to be distracted and never came by to ask if we needed anything. Never even asked if we wanted more wine or coffee at the end of the dinner. Although I would return, I would expect better service for such an expensive meal.

    We went to Jeff Ruby's on a friend's recommendation for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We will be thanking them profusely! The Classic Wedge Salad was delicious with a wonderful blue cheese dressing and lots of cheese and bacon. The Spicy Bourbon Bacon appetizer was amazing. I've never had anything like it. My husband loved his lobster and my Rib Eye was perfection with their special spice rub. The service was terrific. Overall five stars and we will definitely be back when we return to Nashville!
