   We always love our Jeff Ruby’s experiences for special occasions or family celebrations. The food was excellent as always, but our service was not acceptable. I rarely leave reviews, but our server was not attentive. Drink service was slow, one of our entree items came late only after us pointing out it was still missing, there was a long pause after finishing our meal before a dessert menu was presented, and when our check was requested and made available. We spent $400 (including a good tip for our server even though service wasn’t acceptable, because we are human too.) It was busy in the bar area where we were seated, so perhaps it was just an off night. Still, for the expense we hoped for timely and attentive service - nothing extraordinary- just don’t forget about us. All said, our meals were delicious but the experience wasn’t typical.

   Went to celebrate my 50th birthday. Menus were printed with Happy Birthday which was a lovely touch. Service was meh. Sushi appetizer was great. While all dishes served were safe for our food allergy son, they didn't do a good job of informing us of what was ok for him, like bread and shared sides. They also didn't try to make accommodations for his allergies which was disappointing for a dining experience such as this. Server didn't explain the special butter or what type of bread even though we had said it was our first time and we heard other servers explaining to their tables. Our meals were mediocre at best. All 3 of us had a special of filet and lobster tails and none of us thought it was great. We skipped dessert but were given a treat for my birthday and I had to ask what it was as server didn't volunteer the information. Also had to ask for the food they had boxed for me as it was never given back to us. Atmosphere of the restaurant was great, but not worth the hype and hefty price tag.

   The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was cooked to perfection and full of incredible flavor. We left feeling very pleased and satisfied with the entire dining experience from a culinary standpoint.

   Awesome food and service, as always. We celebrated our son’s 9th birthday and he loved the picture and birthday card they made for him!

   All Ruby's restaurants are good...but Lexington can't hold a candle to any of the Cincinnati locations. I had a reservation and I was seated in the bar area. I wanted the dining room. When paying over $300 for dinner and with a reservation, I do t want to sit in a loud bar area. Plus, it was cold because they had doors to patio open even though it was rainy and chilly.

   Always great food and ambiance. The live entertainment in the bar area always welcome addition.

    My first time at Jeff Ruby's. I have not dined there previously because of the higher price of dining there. I decided to "splurge" to celebrate a special birthday that I also share with my daughter. Although more expensive, the experience was worth it. The food and service were outstanding, and our waiter, Justin, made sure we felt special. At the end of the dinner he took a photo of our table, and before we left, he gave us two framed photos with Happy Birthday written inside. I'm very glad we spent a special celebration there.
