I was pleasantly surprised we found this little gem behind some street construction. The Food was great and it was a family atmosphere. We’ll be back to try other items on the menu.

My husband and I had dinner there last night. Our server, Oscar was great! Very attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious, we had the bruschetta appetizer, which was great. However it was the steaks that were excellent! We had 8 oz filet & the skirt steak, both were cooked perfectly and practically melted in your mouth. And they were served on a wooden board! Will definitely go there again.

Had a great meal at JD’s . Our server was great , very friendly and helpful . The food was very good . Had the filet , the ribs , and a sirloin. All were cooked perfectly. It’s a little difficult to get to the restaurant because of road construction but we figured it out with Waze and was definitely worth the trip .

Hidden gem!! Was brought here for my birthday dinner. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. Made excellent suggestions that did not disappoint. Steak was perfectly cooked. Chicken was moist and well seasoned. Ribs fell off the bone and very delicious. The chef came out at the end of our dinner, introduced himself and asked how our experience was. He was extremely friendly and funny. He ended by recommending we try their Sunday brunch. Will absolutely be going back!

Absolutely love this place. Food and service is amazing. I would definitely recommend JD’s Mission Steakhouse. Unfortunately the construction to the roads makes it confusing to get to this restaurant. I recommend to just take a deep breath, give yourself time and patience, because it definitely is worth it. I have been here a week day for dinner and a weekend for dinner, both times it was a great experience. Looking forward to a Sunday Brunch experience.

Chips and guac app was $14 and chips weren't even fresh/warm. Chicken Alfredo pasta sauce was watery with no flavor. Filet mignon was chewy. Garlic bread was flavorful and dinner rolls were good.

What can I say about this restaurant! My family and I dined here for a double date and I’m so glad we did! The food was exquisite! The service was amazing. We enjoyed ourselves immensely so much so we went back the next day for mimosas!! My oh my the brunch DID NOT disappoint! A total hidden gem. We will continue to support the local community restaurant! We love it there and you will too!!

We went for Easter Sunday brunch. All of the staff was really nice. Service was excellent. I was told that they have bottomless mimosas. My server informed us that the bottomless mimosas were $18 per person. The champagne was cheap and was not good at all. The food was okay but the hot foods were not hot (not even warm). When I brought this to their attention, they took care of it immediately. They thanked me for bringing the problem to their attention. I will not return for brunch. I might consider returning for lunch or dinner.

The ambiance, almost like a done up diner we were told there’s new management the meals came out prepared well. The only real con was the very Limited menu for Valentine’s that was not advertised through open-table it was unexpected and unfortunate since it was our first time experiencing the restaurant besides that it’s a nice casual place to dine with a small hint of fine dining

The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Asparagus and baked potato was delicious! Chipotle Mac n Cheese was over cooked. Wait staff and hostess were very attentive but required repeat requests for what was needed. The decor seems to be in progress very plain and open room, more like a diner (not a steak house)

I recommend using open table to book a reservation. We had a party of four with no wait which was great. The party of four ahead of us had no reservation and had to wait an hour. New York steak, ribeye and filet mignon were all amazing. Their crème brûlée is a must have. We will definitely be back soon.

Food is delicious, perfectly seasoned. Bruschetta was fresh, and steak was cooked perfect to order, juicy & seasoned. All flavors were amazing. The restaurant was not busy, it was nice and quiet. Server Yasmin A. Made my husband and I Anniversary dinner wonderful. She was attentive to all our needs, checking on on. Ask us when she sat us if it was any special occasion, then wished us happy anniversary again when we left. The Food and Service is definitely worth the 45-minute drive. Will be coming back.

Server forgot our appetizer, appetizer arrived with meal and was bland, charged us for the appetizer even though I said nevermind, filet mignon was supposed to be medium rare but came out medium well. Inside needs some updating

Unfortunately, we didn't get full menu. The morning of reservation, restaurant called and left message they had a limited menu. 3 choices. I would have cancelled, but I showed no missed calls or VM on my phone. Service was great.

Not sure if the grill was too hot. The wife's steak was sent back. Owner tried explaining one side would be more cooked than other. Never the less she wanted a new steak. This time she ordered medium rare to avoid having the same problem ordering the same cooked steak. It came out and she was satisfied.

Phenomenal steaks and also the rest was amazing all the way down to the dinner rolls. This was half way between my parents and us since we live in Orange County. I’ve been all over the world and have had great steaks…this place is now at the top of my list. The service was fantastic, even the chef came out and sang happy birthday to my 80 year old mom. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was clean with a comfortable atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was exceptional and was reasonably priced. The wine menu could use a bit of work, but they do cover their bases with the more popular varietals. They did offer a descent beer selection. Overall, a great experience and will return.
