   Hostess very abrupt and rude. Noise level outrageously loud. Long wait for men’s bathroom which is very uncommon.

   We enjoyed Javier's at the Irvine Spectrum for dinner on Cinco de Mayo. We started at the bar with a very good Margarita while waiting for our table. The ambience and service at the bar are first rate and reminiscent of our recent trip to Cabo. Dinner was highlighted by exceptional service. Octavio was not only professional, but warm, friendly, and engaging. We enjoyed our conversation with him. Great guy. The food was fine but not quite up to the standards set by the outstanding ambience and service. Not much to complain about - perhaps a bit on the bland side. One dish was Shrimp Fajitas which wasn't really Fajitas - just room temperature shrimp and veggies on a plate with corn tortillas. The other dish was the Dungeness Crab Enchiladas which was better, just lacked enough flavor to make it a great dish. Overall a fine experience. A great place and wonderful bar to come to for a beverage. We'll try different dishes the next time...

   Great value and food quality. Beautiful and well maintained restaurant. Gracious greetings at the host stand. Service was courteous but in nearly each instance regardless of team member, the server, water attendant or support member would leave so quickly we couldn’t ask for anything. Had to wait multiple times for a return visit from the server to finish talking to them. The staff were all professional and polite, they just need to give more attention to the guests when speaking with them.

   Music is way too loud with too much base. All you could hear was the boom boom boom and not the conversation my party was trying to have. Please turn down the music!!!

   Javier‘s is our favorite restaurant and we’re proud because in my industry wherever I travel in every city people associate Orange County with Javier’s, it’s only signature restaurant. 2 weeks ago, I dined with Roofing leaders from across the country at the La Jolla Javier’s because I knew the experience would be exactly the same that I have in Irvine in Newport Beach, perfectly prepared food and drinks that nobody can create, swift service and an ambiance that Lifts the entire room, the spot everyone wants to be

    Javier's is always a pleasant experience. I've never had anything bad to say. The food might be overpriced, but it's good and remember you're also paying for the atmosphere and ambiance.
