Jasper's - Richardson
We enjoyed the restaurant week menu. Great offerings, for a great price! Food was outstanding.
The food was pretty good. However, for the money, I can't say that I see the value enough to recommend it.
the food is absolutley DELICIOUS and the staff has always been super nice and helpful - this is our go to for special occasions - the blue cheese chips and a dirty martini are almost a meal in themselves
Enjoyed having the opportunity to take part in the Restaurant Week menu. With a party of 8, our server Brittany and all the rest did a great job. I’m a stickler in service, and she made the experience great. Good food, great time.
The service was too slow....especially since it was restaurant week and there were set menus already. We waited 1 hr and 30 minutes before getting our first course.
We were surprised to learn when we arrived that the regular menu wasn't available and only the restaurant week one was. The food has gotten worse since Kent Rathbun is no longer involved. The mac n cheese was runny, and the steak was just okay. Our waitress was fantastic and I would go back just to see her.
Came here during restaurant week. Very good selection and outstanding value. All for a good cause. Well done and I hope the area restaurants continue to participate in this worthwhile endeavor!
Outstanding food and service. Visited during restaurant week and anxious to return to sample the regular menu.
Table waiting on arrival. Waitress in training, but did a great job.
Great food, service and value
Our first time. All round excellent. We had the beef tenderloin and pork tenderloin. I’d say the corn with spicy extras accompanying the pork gave it the edge
Food was excellent, service not so great, Restaurant Week was probably the reason. Will try again.
They were really struggling to keep up with restaurant week crowds. We would not have come if we knew it was this week. Normally this place is close to perfect
Food were amazing. Service was a little slow but when were there they was very busy.
Restaurant Week is a good time to see friends and try out a new restaurant. The four of us enjoyed the food very much. But the service was poor from the beginning and didn't improve through the whole meal. It seemed like the team approach used to take our order, deliver our food, and check to see how we were doing failed for us. In fact, the waiter brought the bill and we pointed out that we had not gotten our dessert yet. That is just one of the issues we had.
Me and a friend went to Jasper's as part of restaurant week. And it was a very good experience. The food was prepared to perfection, there was an issue with my friend's meal - but it was addressed immediately. The staff was courteous, attentive and accommodating, even though the restaurant was very busy due to it being restaurant week.
Our overall experience was very good - enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and all that for a very reasonable price.
Our lunch experience at Jasper’s was wonderful! The food was terrific and the service outstanding. We will definitely return !
My wife & I visited Jasper's on Wednesday August 8th. After I made the reservation, I was contacted by the restaurant and notified of the Dallas Food Week event they were participating in to raise funds for the food back. The menu for the evening was somewhat limited but the food was outstanding. Our filets was cooked to perfection. The key lime pie and bundt cake were delicious. Rob, our server, was outstanding. He was very friendly yet professional and efficient. This is a great place for a nice dinner.
Our first experience was during Restaurant Week at Jasper's Richardson and we had a wonderful time. Madison, our server was sweet and accommodating.
Great restaurant week menu. Food was good and service ok. I got my starter but my husband didn’t get his salad - unusual!
Our first visit was Restaurant week. The restaurant and the food were fabulous, we will come back. Thanks for all the efforts to make it a truly special evening!
Terrible service; waited 15 min for a server; informed hostess; waited another 10 min. Did not even receive apology.
Our server was outstanding - I believe his name was michael
Service was great along with excellent food
Michele, she is Fantastic. Foods quality is great, wine selection is nice also, needs seasonal cocktails selection.
I would recommend to friends, and love to dine in my city’s I live in,
Keep up great work, thanks!
We had a business lunch here. Great service, beautiful dining room. Food was very good. I had tortilla soup which was exceptional, and turkey sandwich which was good and generous but nothing super original. My table mate had a salad that looked amazing and she said it was wonderful. Blue cheese chips were nice touch and very good. I would love to go back for dinner, I bet their full entrees are amazing. High quality food and fantastic service.
The food and service were great! We had the ribeye and trout. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection.
Our server, Luis, made this an extremely enjoyable lunch. He was very helpful in assisting with our orders. We both did the Duo lunch with soup and sandwich. We had an order of their “world famous” potato chips with bleu cheese dressing “on the side” because one of us doesn’t care for bleu cheese. The chips are delicious with or without the dressing. My Arnold Palmer never went below 1/3 full before another arrived at the table. Impeccable service.
It was my parents 23rd wedding Anniversary and my step mom wanted to come to jaspers. First I will say our waitress was very kind but just a little lost. She forgot simple things such as water and drink refills. Which I can usually overlook because people are busy. I ordered the salmon and it was over cooked and fishy. I could not eat it and sent it back. I chose not to re order anything because of how the night was going.
As a gesture at the end they did give my parents a complimentary cake for there anniversary which was very nice. But I don’t think I will be going back.
Food was good. The service was low to mediocre even though the restaurant was not busy. The waiter was not well trained. The food was expensive for lunch with mediocre service hence the overall value low.
Wonderful service, fabulous food and nice atmosphere. Beautiful restaurant. We were privileged to have a visit from the manager, who was very friendly. That always adds to a restaurant experience. The food is great and the menu for lunch has nice variety.
This was our first time at this location, having been to the Shops at Legacy location numerous times. The valet is hidden off the main drag. We did not see him until we already parked in the garage and walked over. We felt very rushed, as our entrees arrived before we finished our appetizer. Then, my husband had to wait about 15 minutes for his requested horseradish and beer. And, my potato did not come out as ordered. The replacement potato was not completely cooked. I did not think the prime rib was the same as the Plano location. It tasted smoked. It was a mediocre meal with spotty and rushed service. We were out of there in about an hour.
The food was outstanding. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. 50% off all wine bottles on Monday was the icing on the cake!
My go to in Richardson for a business lunch or Saturday night out. Great food in a nice atmosphere. Love the open kitchen concept. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. We had the Venison on Saturday and it was outstanding. Last but not least, try their special martinis!
Our party of 6 was given a private round table..........excellent.............thanks.
Food & service also excellent.
Good food and service. Lovely dining experience. Elegant atmosphere!
Jacqueline always finds our perfect table, Luis took excellent care of us at our fabulous lunch, and it's always a treat to have William come over to the table to check on us!
Michele our server was excellent and very observant. However, here manager committed a customer service faux paus. We were ready for a glass of wine with dinner, he brought over a wine list, and offhandedly suggested chardonnay, as if we wouldn't know different. Then he turned away, made no suggestions , and never returned. Of course Michele got us what we wanted. When the floor manager cannot provide basic customer service, we were stunned. I thought the food was great, atmosphere nice, but would be skeptical of the floor manager's actions in the future. NJ
Girlfriends Dinner celebrating a 65th Bday. We've eaten at Jaspers in the past and enjoyed the service, the ambience, and the Quiet offered. Our waitress, Michelle, was outstanding - patiently answering Qs an accommodating our requests. We had several items from the menu and all were delicious except the sausage pizza - nothing special and the crust was a little burned. It was a great Birthday celebration and I'm sure we'll be back.
