Delicious, the sushi was very fresh and well prepared. The service was fantastic. We loved the oysters we had as appetizers. The servings were very generous.

Overall great. Food was awesome. Place was nice. Price was fair. Service was good but them seems short staffed as they had like 2 servers for the whole place.

We have been eating at Goshi for 25 years and it is consistently the best Japanese food in the world. (I have now traveled enough to confirm this.) Particular standouts are the albacore tataki, miso soup, cucumber salad, halibut tempura roll and udon noodle dishes - but even the edamame come perfectly cooked every time. Yes they cost a pretty penny. Always worth it.

If I had to have a “last meal on earth” I might choose dinner at Goshi - it is THAT GOOD. I’d start with a side salad, move on to the Albacore Tataki (absolute fav), followed by the Tuna Garlic Crunch & Halibut Tempura Rolls. Eel sauce on the side. The only thing I don’t love about Goshi is how hard it is to get a table there! I book a res at least once a month. It’s pricy, but worth every penny.

Had the Sanpai Boat for two and was delighted. Fresh and well executed sushi and nigiri, appetizers and sides. A great value and absolutely delicious!

Wonderful experience as usual. We have frequented Goshi for years. Goshi has always been our choice when we visit SLO. Fresh fish selection, good amount of vinegar in sushi rice, and good rice texture. Happy to spend our anniversary here.
