Delicious food and such a cute little place. There was live music playing at a comfortable level in the background. The entire restaurant is outside, which gives it such a hoy intimate feel. The staff was amazing. So very friendly! Would absolutely go again!

So sad to hear of the changes and losses at our former favorite place. My heart goes out to the family and employees. Unfortunately the menu changes mean no more gluten free options and the dishes that have the same names have all changed in flavor and ingredients. So sad.

Great ambiance. Service was excellent despite being short staffed. Everyone was friendly and the mushroom tacos and ahi katsu was the best things on the menu!

Stepping into Japanese Grandma's Cafe was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, we loved the inviting atmosphere. The live music was perfect; it was lively without being intrusive, allowing for easy conversation. The food truly shined. We dove into a selection of their sushi rolls, and each one was amazing and incredibly fresh, a testament to the quality of their ingredients. We also shared a refreshing seaweed salad and the perfectly seared ahi tuna, both of which were delicious. What truly elevated our dining experience were the staff's recommendations. Their suggestions were spot-on, guiding us to dishes we absolutely loved. The entire team was friendly and wonderfully attentive, making us feel well-cared for throughout our meal. Japanese Grandma's Cafe offers more than just excellent sushi; it provides a complete dining experience where outstanding food, a delightful atmosphere, and top-notch service come together seamlessly. We left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit!

Loved the outdoor dining and live music. It was great to be able to get a reservation at prime dining time on a very busy evening. The servers were quite slow, and disorganized. 2 meals were served and 30 minutes later the other two. Very awkward& food was cold. Hit saki was served after asking 3X for it and finally had to retrieve ourselves from bar. Overcharged so definitely look over your itemized bill before paying. Highlight was getting to meet and chat with the gracious owner.
