    So sad to hear of the changes and losses at our former favorite place. My heart goes out to the family and employees. Unfortunately the menu changes mean no more gluten free options and the dishes that have the same names have all changed in flavor and ingredients. So sad.

    Great ambiance. Service was excellent despite being short staffed. Everyone was friendly and the mushroom tacos and ahi katsu was the best things on the menu!

    Loved the outdoor dining and live music. It was great to be able to get a reservation at prime dining time on a very busy evening. The servers were quite slow, and disorganized. 2 meals were served and 30 minutes later the other two. Very awkward& food was cold. Hit saki was served after asking 3X for it and finally had to retrieve ourselves from bar. Overcharged so definitely look over your itemized bill before paying. Highlight was getting to meet and chat with the gracious owner.

    Maybe I went on an off night but the food wasn’t as good as people hype it up to be. Nothing was spectacular or standout.

    Favorite sushi in Kauai! We make sure to stop by every time we visit. The quality of fish is great and service is fantastic!

    The garden dining experience felt a little like we were in someone's backyard, but don't let that deter you from experiencing the great food, wonderful staff, and appropriate live music. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The food was really great-everyone in our party enjoyed their dishes. There was a gentleman who was singing cover songs through most of our dinner which created a great ambiance as it was at just the right volume. We would definitely return for another dining experience-definitely make reservations as some of the walk-ins were seated but it looked like they had a little bit of a wait.
