   Great service food and music. Will be back the next time we are in Nashville. Forget downtown, East Nashville is the best.

   We always order the deviled eggs and brussel sprouts. The cocktails are very good. The staff was a bit shorthanded on a busy night, but we were well-entertained by the two rounds of singer-songwriter performances.

   We had a reservation for 7:15, and were seated, got water and a cocktail that was good. We were waiting for our son to join us, so we had 2 appetizers, and he came in and helped us finish the second appetizer at 8:15. After that, nobody came to our table to offer him water, to order drinks or food until 9:15. The only waitress covering a crowd of probably at least 60 diners, never checked back in with us. I know she was way overworked, but she never seemed in a hurry. I went up to the bar, finally, and got a water for my son, and the bartender kindly asked if we wanted drinks and brought them right away. By the time the waitress finally checked back in with us, the fried chicken confits, which 3 of us wanted, was no longer available, so I ordered a fried hot chicken sandwich, which ended up burnt tasting, greasy, and lacking in any complexity of flavor, served on a small mushy hamburger bun. I ended up only being able to choke down about a third of it. One positive, was the waitress knew how disappointed I was, and comped me my meal. A prior experience there was good, and that fried chicken confit was amazing, that time.

   The draw of Jane’s hideaway is this is a live music venue. The food and cocktails are better than similar venues but I wouldn’t consider this a ‘go to’ Resturant. The service is great though and if you’re looking for late dinner and drinks with quality live music then Jane’s is a good choice.

   Excellent food, excellent service, inventive drinks, and a wonderful ambiance. The music was fantastic. Excellent date spot if you like hearing live music.

   The food was incredible! I will say the espresso martini wasn’t my favorite but the rest of the cocktails were good. The ambiance was lovely and overall a great experience.

   Such a fun little venue! We went there on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was amazing and the house band was great. It's definitely on our list to go back to whenever we're in town!

   The service was excellent, and John, the owner, was very nice. The Strawberry cake and Brussels sprouts were great. The beet salad had an excellent flavor, though it didn't have beets. Okra and Brussels sprouts are spicy. The music had a lovely old vibe that was consistent with the restaurant's.

   Food and service were spectacular. The live music was loud but you could still have a conversation.
