At Jane's Hideaway, we're serving up local, Southern Americana. Offering hot food and cold drinks from our scratch kitchen and craft bar. Hide out tonight in Printer's Alley with some of Nashville’s finest musicians. Friends of Jane are always welcome!
Although the food and music were terrific, this place took little to no responsibility in social distancing. When we arrived, hardly anyone was there but once we got our first round of drinks, they sat people all around us, including a large group of about 8 men who walked in with and without masks on. We asked to move and the waitress was kind to move u (to a spot that also later filled to a unsafe capacity which is why we left); however, the restaurant itself had not taken any precaution to seat tables far enough away from others nor did they have plastic shields between tables and on the week of the highest numbers in the nation.
I would have ideally come back to this location but doubt I will since they show so little concern for the safety of their customers and, more importantly, their own staff who are subject to the spread of COVID. I will take my business elsewhere.
Food was way over cooked and we did not eat it but did not complain on-site as I with a group.
Loved Jane’s Hideaway for a new year’s eve outing! Service was quick and staff was attentive. Drinks were great. Loved the live music too!
I can't deny that the food was absolutely delicious however the ambiance lacked substantially..with all the fabulous interiors around Nashville this was incredibly lackluster. The food was amazing, service was great, and the live music was awesome however I probably won't be in a hurry to go right back just because I can have a better overall dining experience with just as good of food elsewhere.
Also checked out 'Candy Cane Jane's' the rooftop bar and was fairly unimpressed. When you're competing with places like The Bobby, LA Jackson, the Rare Bird along with Noelle's holiday pop-ups it was tacky and poorly done. Also, absolutely no social distancing and tons of people walking around without masks. Promptly left before even getting a drink.
I would recommend Jane's for the food and the live music only.
We had four different appetizers and enjoyed them all. The house band was amazing, and our drinks were delicious. We popped upstairs to Candy Cane Jane’s and had an after dinner drink. The crowd seems a little younger than us (late 40s), but we had a blast. Would definitely recommend to friends.
Delicious food, live music and great service!
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, we are glad you had a great time!
Wonderful food and hospitality wrapped in an amazing venue!
Great food, even better service. The upstairs bar was fun too.
Excellent in every respect! From the greeting by Hannah, through dessert and after dinner drinks upstairs!
Such great service from our waiter and bartender! Felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Best brussel sprouts ever!
We had such a great time at Jane’s! The food is amazing and the band is fantastic! Such a fun atmosphere!
This is a fun place and will become a "must" in Downtown Nashville. I absolutely recommend that it!
While the food and drinks were good, the portion sizes were very small... Especially for a grown man. My husband had to order another entree because the duck was smaller than his hand. He's only 5'10 so he's not a giant. Also, for such a small space, the live music was WAY too much! We couldn't hear ourselves or the server. Unfortunately we won't be back. Those things are deal breakers for us.
Great food, friendly service, charming space. We went for bluegrass brunch and the band was so fun.
The food is amazing. Small menu, but they do everything right. Their cocktails are about average. Some good, some unique. The ambience is nice, and they have a rooftop bar that’s currently serving holiday drinks. Great view of Titan Stadium.
We had a great time. Burgers are fantastic, steak was amazing. Music should have been complimentary to the ambiance - it was way too loud and made it impossible to have quality conversation. If not for that, we would have stayed longer to enjoy drinks and the entertainment.
An improvement from the previous restaurant. Food and drinks came out fast and were good portions for the price. Nothing to write home about, but were tasty. The music was fun. Lights a little too bright especially for the white paint theme of the space. Our server was a hot mess. Couldn't remember anything we ordered every single time, brought us someone else's credit card twice asking if it was ours, squatted down and got very close to our faces with no mask (was too close even without covid). Tried to steer us in different directions every time we ordered something. Even the table next to us came up to us at the bar next door afterwords asking if we had a strange dinner too. He must have been high. Would go back for convenience but not for the overall experience.
Amanda, Thank you for stopping by, we love having local guests come in to check out our new spot. We would like to apologize for your experience and let you know that we have decided to cut ties with that server. Thank you for your notes on our lighting. We hope that you come back and give us another chance. My name is John, this is my first restaurant, I am there nightly. Please ask for me by name next time you are in, I will make sure to improve on your experience. -John
Enjoyed Saturday brunch. Simple menu with savory dishes. Music was great but no to loud for brunch.
We stumbled across Jane’s Hideaway right before it opened and decided we HAD to make a reservation, and we were not disappointed! The ambiance is everything you hope for in a downtown restaurant with live music, the food was delicious, and the drinks were PHENOMENAL! We’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Loved all the food and specialty cocktails. Great new venue in Printer’s Alley.
A hidden gem. Food was incredible, service excellent and helpful. Great band. Will go back soon.
