   Our waiter Matthew was excellent...attentive but not obtrusive. We arrived about 6:30- were immediately seated and offered menus and drinks. The food was fantastic- fresh and perfectly prepared. The restaurant filled and got noisier but it felt convivial and not too loud. The peach pie was delicious. Best dinner out in a long time!

   Three couples. We really enjoyed the food. Onion rings for the table. I had chicken piccata. Delicious. Our group seemed to all enjoy as well.

   Very pleasant saying with good food which was well prepared. There was a nice selection of both food and wines. It is located on State Street but away from the beach and traffic. We were staying nearby so we walked so we can not comment on parking. Save room for dessert.

   The whole experience was great. Our server was very attentive and gave us great recommendations, the food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere is very nice. Will definitely be back

   Jane's is one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Barbara for both the ambiance, the service, and the food. It is right on State Street and many people eat there before the theater. I love it most in the winter when the fireplace is warm and cozy. To start our meal, my husband ordered his favorite dish-the goat cheese pancakes-and I got the wedge salad. Both dishes were amazing. The lettuce was crisp and nicely chilled, and had an amazing blue cheese dressing topped with fresh bacon. The goat cheese pancakes are thin and topped salmon and creme fraiche. For dinner we split the chicken picatta which was amazing. The chicken was sliced very thin. and cooked perfectly. It was crisp but not dry and It came with fetticini, and some lightly sauteed fresh vegetables. They do charge $5 if you want the chef to split the dish, but will also bring you an extra plate for free. Jane's always has some nice wines by the glass to sip on and of course a killer cocunut cake for dessert. All that and our bill was still under $100. Janes is a great little date night gem!

   A great restaurant where we had a wonderful and relaxing lunch - food presentation was professional and food extremely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was chic but casual and the service provided by both hostess & waitress were friendly, informative and totally professional . I highly recommend this fun and moderately priced restaurant.

   The food was very good and just the right amounts. The Jane sundae was incredible missed the coconut cake! We are from out of town and are glad we choose it!

    For years, one of our favorite restaurants was the Montecito Cafe. We were sad to hear it had closed. Then we heard about Jane which is owned by the same people. We finally got to try it last week and we were NOT disappointed... in fact we were thrilled with our dining experience! What a gem!! Location, ambiance, service, food were all top notch. And to top it off, they have coconut cake🤗 We will be back for sure!
