JALWA Indian Bistro is a must go to. Our neighbors mentioned the newly opened restaurant and we decided to give it a try. Service was impeccable even though they were full (never saw an opened table longer than the time it took to clean it). We started with the naan with an Italian twist/3 house made butters. Get out of your comfort zones and try all 3 even if you “think” you may not like it (yummmmm). Our table ordered the chicken tikka masala, lamb dish (beyond incredible), and the chicken kaali mirch korma. The lamb shanks took home the prize followed closely by both the korma and tikka masala. A wonderfully delicious night!

This was an awesome dining experience. The food presentation was exceptional and all dishes were creative, delicious, and awesomely tasty!!! We were very impressed by the service staff. They made our visit such an enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant decor was gorgeous. The scented presentation upon being seated was awesome and a pleasant surprise. Loved the lighted menu. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

We have enjoyed multiple visits to Jalwa. The front of the house team always gives us a warm, welcoming greeting. The team exercises multiple touch points to provide comprehensive, though non-intrusive service. The back of the house creates wonderfully interesting dining options. Visually exciting, enticing aromatics and interesting flavors make this our go to Indian restaurant.

friendly, helpful service in beautiful surroundings. The food is excellent and plentiful. Do not hesitate to try the sampler plate, the lentils, and the tiki masala. It will be a favorite for us.

Dinner @JALWA was a wonderful EXPERIENCE!! The food was delicious, presentation very appealing - Chef Mukesh Gautam’s care and creativity was on full display - the serving staff were attentive and helpful. JALWA is not a ‘run of the mill’ Indian restaurant! Additionally, it’s a ZERO WASTE KITCHEN!! Love it!!

Jalwa is one of the best restaurants in Raleigh. We have been several times since they opened and the food and service are fantastic. The staff is very helpful in answering questions about the food and you can't go wrong ordering what they suggest. Highly recommend a visit soon.

Upscale Indian food. Very delicious. There on Mother’s Day and it was filled with others celebrating. Special menu. My daughter and I enjoyed Chicken Balwang and an eggplant dish. Great service The decor was beautiful.
