Not horrible but not overly impressive either. Fantastic ranch water, queso, and beef tacos. Ceviche, chicken tacos and margs were ok.

I honestly was not a fan of the food. The coconut rice was a little weird and shrimp were overcooked. The cocktails were subpar, not worth their price point. However, the service was amazing. Would I go back? No.

Everyone of the staff were upbeat, friendly and helpful. We had 2 small children in our group which added extra challenges and patience. The wait staff responded with flexibility and were very accomodating. Thank you!

This was a terrible experience. Despite the fact that they were listed as participating in the preview weekend for DFW Restaurant week and I made the reservation on the restaurant week site, when we arrived we learned that they had lied and were not participating in restaurant week. We left and will never go back. It’s shameful to attract customers by advertising that you are participating and planning to donate to the food bank when it is NOT true at all. DFW Restaurant Week should bar them from participating.

A unique experience for Mexican food. NOT your usual Tex-Mex. So much better. The menus is wonderful as well as the craft cocktails. Everything is delicious and presentation is perfect. The service was amazing. Very impressive.

We had a 6:30 reservation, lots of open tables, but we were sat right next to the kitchen door. Loud, and 2 of us , our view was the wall of staff coming in and out. Waitress was excellent. Food came out too quick,, we did not even finish our appetizer. Food was excellent, we had 4 different dishes, all great. Drinks were weak, for $14 cocktail you except a nice drink, so for that I gave it 4 stars. Overall recommend. They need to clean up front entryway outside.

Celebrated a milestone birthday. Food was yummy! But THE waiter, Mr.Angle …was hilarious and made the evening fun. Since I heard about their mole sauce, he had no hesitation bringing us a cup to try. His service was excellent!!!! That’s how customer service should be!!! Can he be featured on tic-tok!!! His enthusiasm was infectious!!! Hope the owner of this restaurant reads this message and gives the gentleman a raise! Really, he made our evening special. My only complaint was that the music was loud when we walked in (like a discotheque) and where we sat. We requested the host to turn it down or reseat us. They immediately lowered the music and apologized. Wow! All in all, customer service was top notch! Food fantastic! And it was an evening to remember. We will be back!! 🌮

The place looks like its on its last legs of staying open. Waiter dropped a meal on one person. The drinks came out at a snails pace, explanation we there was only one bartender. A recommended tequila was then explained was sold out. Very disappointed as previous experiences here were a lively crowd and great service. I will be surprised if they are open for another month.

This place is used to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurant! Waitresses were so rude and service was terrible! My friend ordered brisket enchiladas and it just had about two bites meat on it and was tasteless.

The cocktail menu was very good with some intriguing options. Two people in our group opted for the spicy margarita and enjoyed it. The cowboy queso was tasty, but the chips were mediocre at best. The enchiladas were lack luster and drowned in sauce. I booked this restaurant based on great reviews, but it fell short of great.

Not as good as previous visits.....waiter broke a water serving bottle in front of our table, and there was still glass under it, even after a brief interrupting clean up. Food was just fair....scallops were a bit burned, croutons were and tasted like they were from a box.... Mole sauce was decent, if not remarkable...previously, exquisite. I know it was Sunday night, but it tasted like the kitchen had given up for the day. And, it was LOUD.....I didn't expect that based on previous visits......Had I expected that, I would have picked another place....had out of town guests, and wanted to have more conversation......didn't work like we'd hoped.

The coconut shrimp entree was exceptional. I loved the regular version, but they happily made a spicier version for my friend on request and she loved it too. Some of the crowd on the enclosed patio were rudely noisy, but it was no problem to relocate to a quieter interior booth. We'll be back.

Something about Mexican food in Texas is not authentic. Flavor are flat. This did not taste nothing Jalisco. Too bad. Was very excited to eat some actual Jalisco.

Absolutely outstanding. Do not miss this unique restaurant...it's traditional Mexican (not Tex-Mex) menu with a modern twist is not to be missed. Great service and coctails too. A bit outside of downtown, but so worth it.

Took my mother (for a very late Mother’s Day dinner) here and everything was excellent. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, the margaritas were amazing and the coconut flan was really well done. I believe our server name was Rossana, and she provided some of the best service I have ever received.

I arrived early and the bartender was super kind and courteous. She made a drink that was delicious! Our waitress was courteous, but was difficult to get when something was needed. I asked for my eggs to be scrambled soft, she said “I will ask but we’re really busy and I can’t guarantee it” so that meant “that’s not going to happen” and it didn’t. The eggs were so dry and over done, couldn’t eat them. My niece asked for a side of potatoes and they arrived after we had finished eating. Struggled to even locate the waitress and ask for the check. When she did come around, she presented me with the machine with the total and no copy of the itemized bill - not good! After I signed and left a generous tip, she asked if I wanted a copy of the check - to which I said yes, eventually someone brought it… I will not be back to this restaurant.

Jalisco Norte always impresses me. The ambiance is welcoming, it’s a beautiful restaurant, the music is not too loud and is always good.. switching over to the food.. All I have to say is, it’s always AMAZING. From the appetizers to the desserts, they always leave us impressed and more than satisfied. The service is also fantastic, the manager/owner is constantly checking on the costumers which is always so nice. The drinks are also phenomenal, I love their watermelon tini. My favorite dish to get is the scallops, OH MY GOSH they’re so good! And to end everything off you must get the Carlota de Limon, overall 10/10 every experience every time. I wish i could remember our servers name, he was a thin Mexican man who was very kind and made is feel so welcomed.
