Incredible tapas and the outdoor seating was still warm even on a cold night.

Choose the 5 course tapas with the chicken dish and Arroz con Leche for dessert. Excellent and you can't go wrong in this Jose Andres restaurant that continues creative and delicious choices as it has for years

I made a reservation for 830PM. My partner and I got there and we were told that only untented tables were available. This does not make sense given we made a reservation. We told a table under the tent would be a 30 minute wait so we opted for an outdoor table without a tent. The server sat us down. The server moved the space heater a bit, but did not turn it on. We waited for 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. No one acknowledged us or asked us for our order although we knew what we wanted in 10 minutes. I could not take the cold anymore. And no one turned on the space heater for us. We walked inside and asked for a table in a tent. That's when we saw our server (dressed in black clothing) coming up the stairs from the bottom floor of the restaurant with another man. Overhearing the staff in gray clothing it sounded like the person who was supposed to serve us (dressed in black and tall guy) was actually downstairs for 20 minutes with a guy whose name started with the letter R. We got a table in a tent 20 minutes later. So now it is about 910pm, for a reservation we made at 830pm. We were assigned a new server, and he was great (small guy) and quick with asking us for our order and providing us with the food. Didn't like the chicken with mashed potatoes because it was too mushy. Although the flan was the best flan I ever had. My partner and I also really liked the garlic shrimp plate. We could have ordered two of the garlic shrimp plates. The people inside dressed in gray did not have anything to do. They would stand inside and just get some cards and order them. They just stood there. The people dressed in gray should really help with the food service instead of standing inside doing nothing.

We were impressed by how great the outdoor heating was!!! We weren’t cold at all :)
And of course, we love the food!!! Amazing expwrownce.

Beet goat cheese salad they forgot to put the cheese on and the beets were WAY over cooked, like the came from a can. The fried dates were overcooked. Same with the shrimp. Turns out patio seating is a tent on the road!!!! I dont call that a patio. This was the worst $125 i have spent for two in some time. Well what do you expect for a pandemic.m, but andreas should be ashamed and close down for the duration if this is what you get. It seriously damages his brand. Will not likely go here again, even after things are over

The food at Jaleo is consistently delicious and the staf is very friendly and helpful! It has been one of my personal favorites for the last 20+ years.

We were celebrating 13th anniversary and thought Jaleo would be the highlight. It however wasn’t and the food was bland. No flavor or too much salt. We ended up leaving without dessert and going to a taco stand for much better food for our money. Thank you

Best Spanish restaurant in US

This was an excellent experience to have with my wife, during Covid times, the restaurant has taken all the measures to ensure their guest are safe as well as employees.

I admire the level of service, the food and the hospitality.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Pretty good for Covid

My family and I have eaten at Jaleo several times. The food and service is always outstanding. Especially in this time of COVID it is important to help keep great restaurants such as Jaleo in business.

The food is absolutely incredible. Our server was great -- there was just a delay in getting our first round of drinks. The restaurant has done a wonderful job creating a welcoming ambience with the outdoor dining setup.

Love Jose Andres and everything he does! Have been here many times before in the past, it’s just hard to not be honest about food you’d normally love. The service was amazing and ambiance could not have been better (especially considering we were sitting outside on a 40degree night). I want them to survive so will be back but kitchen needs to pay a little more attention to the food prep and it will be 4&5 stars again! ❤️

Always a great place to enjoy food with friends and family. We have been fans for years!

Jose Andres has a knack with tasty recipes, regardless of the cuisine in his restaurant. This Spanish tapas place is just fantastic. Our fennel/apple/manchego cheese walnut salad, chorizo and mashed potatoes, garlic shrimp and Japanese fried eggplant were all well prepared and extremely tasty. Crusty bread for dipping into a garlic and rosemary flavored olive oil was just wonderful. For dessert we chose the chocolate custard with caramelized bread and olive oil and brioche ice cream. The latter did not sound that appetizing, but were we wrong! We felt very safe eating behind a clear plastic hanging barrier separating us from the closest diners, who were about four tables away. We had not been here for a while, and once again Jaleo did not disappoint.

This was our second visit and we will be back. Dishes are consistently good and well executed. Hostess is doing a great job. Thank you.

Private outdoor dining, safely spaced, fantastic food, excellent service. As always.

As always, the food was wonderful. The squash soup was delicious and presentation was very nice. Talked ourselves into desert and it was well worth it. We ate inside and had lots of room to ourselves.

Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Felt very comfortable with their cleaning and seating procedures.

I am always awed by the level of service provided by Jaleo. The service was efficient, courteous & welcoming. The food stupendous. It was my birthday and I always drive 2-3 hours to get there & they provided the most amazing dessert I have ever eaten. I bought a friend with me that had never been before & now she is a Jaleo convert also. I have not been disappointed in any visit to Jaleo. It remains my favorite restaurant ever.

Calm place, perfect covid protocol, great service and food.

Love it. Only thing is the serves sometimes gave a little too long between check ins. Otherwise it was great service, food, very cleaned and well prepped for COVID.

Not the same place....small menu hd none of our favorites on it so very surprised. What we ate was okay, not great.

Excellent dinner, food was tasty and interesting, service was perfect, the hostess did a great job and came to check on us several time, very nicely, thumbs up!

Enjoyed a lunch with a friend outside, in the patio seating. Very nice, food was delivered quickly after ordering, our server stopped by regularly to check on us = something that often doesn't happen when seated in an outdoor area.

The food and service was spectacular almost as wonderful as my date.. thank you
