   Get the cap steak dinner. It’s incredible and I can’t wait to get it again!!! The food is all delicious and Jack’s has a variety of flavored butters they cycle through with their bread. Delicious.

   Has new owners and may have some growing pains. My salmon was amazing, but the prime rib was a bit chewy and the garlic mash didn’t have much flavor. We had a wonderful waitress but it took quite a while to get bread and another 20 minutes to get dessert after our meals were done. She said they had gotten behind in the kitchen, but it wasn’t a busy weekend and not all of the tables were taken. Hopefully these issues will resolve with time because my meal was truly wonderful.

   Made reservations for the dining room but was told when we got there that they didn't have any tables available and we would have to sit in the bar area or wait for a table to come available which could be between 30 -45 minutes. After getting sitted in the bar area drink orders took quite a bit of time. The same when we went to order food. The food was okay but not something that I would say was worth the hassle and wait.

   Our Waitress was very attentive. She brought our drinks quickly and made sure we had what was needed. However, it took over an hour for our food to arrive after our waitress had taken our food order. Plus, the Shrimp and Grits arrived luke warm. We had waited so long for our food, that we decided not to send the shrimp and grits back to be warmed up. We all felt that one hour was too long to wait once the food order was taken.

   Love Jack's Restaurant. Have had multiple visits in the past several weeks. service is always prompt and attentive. food brought to the table hot, to include the appetizers. I would suggest reservations Thursday/Friday/Saturday as they fill up pretty quickly.

    I always make a reservation even in the bar area ahead. Last night I had two reservations just in case an extra person was coming to join us. Eat in there on an average of two to three times a week. Last night sat at a table that was not occupied & was enjoying drinks & meal. Reservation was at 5:45, very busy so it took a while to get the food. Was told by Jeremy at 7:45 that the table we were sitting was reserved for 8:00. Pretty much was saying needed to leave. There were other tables available in the bar by this time. Really disappointed in the way it was handled , no customer is more important than any other.

    The food and the service were exceptional! The tables were a little too close together and table clothes would help to cut down on the noise level and improve the ambiance. We will definitely return!

    Meh service, really bad food. Super salty French onion soup with few onions and little cheese. Meals were also salty. Beef short ribs dinner had cold, dry, old mashed potatoes, raw green beans and three large pieces of beef that were not bonless short ribs ( do they think we don't know what short ribs are?) In a salty brown goo. Other meal, beef stroganoff, had no mushrooms or peas, also served in a salty brown gravy. The meals took 30 minutes to serve and then the server abandoned us, returned more than thirty minutes later. Even changing owners didn't improve this place.

    first of all please don't get me wrong, this is a good restaurant to visit. The food I ordered (20 Apr 23 6:15 pm) which was the special filet mignon wrapped in bacon, was very burnt! I ordered it medium well, and it came well burnt done ($50 not well spent)! I didn't want to send it back because of reprisals from the kitchen. The waitress and staff were very welcoming. This review is not for people to avoid visiting this establishment, this is just an honest review of "my" food.

    In Dillon for the night while traveling; friends recommended Jack’s based on their experiences. We were not disappointed. My husband had the sesame tuna; I had ravioli with shrimp. All was nicely prepared and very tasty.

    The server was nice and the food was good. We made a reservation and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated then waited over an hour for the food after we ordered. The bar was equally as slow, we esited for 20 minutes for drinks and the martinis our table ordered were brought out in small scotch glasses. We arrived at 7pm and didn't leave until just after 9pm.

    prices aren't what is on the menu. Jeremy fix your prices on the menu to match what's in the system. Don't ever ask the customer if it's ok if you charge more than what's on the menu, it's NOT! Don't send the waitress back to ask the customer if it's ok to pay more than what's on the menu, it's NOT. Don't ask the customer if there is a problem when you try and charge more than what's on the menu! That is not how it works in the hospitality world. Get your act together!! That is not how you manage a restaurant! You can't have mediocre food and charge 5 star prices and not know how to treat people paying good money for a fine dining experience that isn't!!

    Even though we only eat here twice a year while traveling, Jeremy remembers us and greets us like we’re local regulars! The food is always excellent and so is the service! If we lived in Wilson we’d eat here once a week.

    Even having a fully packed house and being short-handed, the staff went put of their way to accommodate walk-ins, ensure they could deliver excellent service, and be honest with their customers. Food was delicious and drinks were on point. Highly recommend!

    The food at Jacks is soooooo good. We had a mix of dishes from the spicy shrimp linguine to the bourbon salmon and a ribeye. Everything was delicious! Jeremy was so attentive in the bar area and makes a perfect cocktail. We will definitely be back.

    Chef Duji is giving Jack's a bit of a revival. The entire staff is professional and friendly, with just the right amount of checking in on you. The food is excellent and comes hot. Just enough time between the appetizers and next course. Fine dining experience here is not pretentious and while Jack's is not a family restaurant. Families love to make memories at Jack's. If you're in the Wilson, NC area...you should dine at Jack's. You won't be disappointed.

    Food was excellent, though the background noise made it difficult to hear the people talking next to me. Waitress was attentive and very assistive. Parking was good and the only issue was that the interior door opened in, if there was an emergency we could all be trapped.

    Jack’s is continuously one if the very best restaurants in Wilson. The food is superb. And Natalie - provides the most wonderful service in the area, period. She makes us want to come back over and over again! Only lingering complaint: please bring back brunch!

    Sat down at 7. FINALLY ordered at 7:30. Still no food other than our appetizer by almost 9, so we left. Waitress kept telling us it was coming soon and that's the only reason we stayed as long as we did. Once we realized that tables all around us, that had been there all of 30 minutes were getting their food, we left. I believe our order was never put in or it got lost.
