Food was incorrect twice!! I asked for no peppers and i received extra! When I was told they would give me another one they just washed it off and try to pan sear it again! Unfortunately they burned it and it tasteless !!! Don’t waste your money CAST IRON IS WAYYYYYYY BETTER!!!

They went above and beyond. Fire alarm in the building went off for another restaurant which caused a 10 min disturbance, but they did everything to make up for it and some.

Food was just so-so considering how high priced their dishes are. The servers were somewhat attentive, which is not that good when you consider less than half their tables were occupied. The bar is right next to the dining area and is separated by a thin wall that does not connect so the bar patrons' cigar smoke comes right into the eating area. Not impressed with Jack's.

Good and service was great! We all enjoyed our meal and the wonderful service. Our group's entrees included two different colored steaks, incredible chicken and fantastic pasta. Appetizers through dessert was super!

Our food was good. Lobster fresh and the food was seasoned. There are holes in the ceiling that are disturbing and the prices are sky high for the portions.

I originally came on Valentines Day with my boyfriend. We were stuck into a back corner in a side room that should NOT have been a table whatsoever. The only thing that made up for it was our waiter. Although I did not say anything or complain about our table, I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was a super busy holiday. We enjoyed our experience; however, for where we were sitting, we should have been comped at least SOMETHING. I couldnt even move my arms without hitting the glass wall to my right. We came came back for a second time despite the seating arrangement on Valentines Day because again, the server was awesome and the food was good. In June, I came with my boyfriend and we made a reservation. It was relatively empty. We were first seated in a booth. Immediately, another employee comes over and starts freaking out that we were seated in the booth. We then we’re asked to be moved to a high top table by the bar five minutes later. Our food was over cooked and after we were moved, it was just a very awkward experience as no one apologized to us. I do not recommend this place at all. They clearly don’t care about their customers compared to other restaurants. Maybe it’s because we are young and in our 20s? Which is such a shame because we spend a LOT when we go to restaurants.

It was our first visit to Jack’s for my daughter, and I. We were welcomed at the door and taken to our table. The staff was very nice and friendly. Overall, we had a great experience. My one downside was, I thought my lobster bisque could have used more than the four little pieces of lobster in the bisque. But the steak was amazing and cooked exactly how we wanted it. We will definitely go back there again. Jeremy did an excellent job attending to us.

It was a great experience, we we’re celebrating my daughter’s graduation. The appetizer was delicious and Our waiter suggested the stuff lobster and it was so amazing. Everyone we encountered was very nice even when we were leaving.

Food was good, service was good, ambiance was lacking - bartender was yelling at the manager on the floor. The bathroom (womens at least) also needed some help - there were cleaning supplies all over the place and needed some cleaning/de-cluttering to fit the high-end feel of the restaurant.

this place is always great,,,,service is impeccable food is very good....Music is the best, upbeat place....they always add a 20% tip regardless of size of party, FYI, which is fine with me but they dont disclose it when they bring you your check.

We go to Jack’s often. It was especially busy that night, and the service was very slow. They sat us right next to the saxophone player, which made it hard to have a conversation through dinner.

Everything was great. Note that it is super expensive, we spent over $400 and only had 2 glasses of wine. but no complaints. Great apps, terrific steak, Great menu, service, and food. Just not affordable for everyday!

Left us disappointed. We had reservations and they stuck us in a corner next to a glass wall. I felt like we were on display. We ordered the garlic shrimp appetizer and the shrimp were not cleaned. They were also very small. I can’t comment on the taste because we sent them back. The NY strip was very fatty and the filet mignon Had no taste. The complimentary garlic bread looked like it was from a school cafeteria. The best part of the dinner was the dessert. We had the crème brûlée. It was delicious and free because we had tickets to the Shubert Theater. No fault of the waiter. He was very friendly and professional and had his hands full since some of the other staff seemed to be clueless. I can mark it off the list. We won’t be back.

Came for my wife’s birthday and received terrible service. Ordered rum and coke and got coke. Charged for run and coke though. Asked about kids menu was served two uncooked burgers, they tried to make me pay when we touched none of the food due to the service provided.

Traveled to CT for a concert. Tried to get reservations at 2 other restaurants but we couldn’t, so we came to Jacks. Beautiful ambience, we were really hungry and the menu looked appetizing, so we decided to give it a shot. Party of 4, we probably ordered $400-500 worth of food, drinks and appetizers. My cousin didn’t like her drink so she asked the server for something else, the first thing out of his mouth was “I can’t take it off the bill”. His rationale was “it’s good”, even though she said it wasn’t, and he admittedly had never even had the drink before. He eventually got her a new drink, and corrected my drink because he’d brought me the wrong one. After we finished our apps we sat for about 30 minutes. I called the server over and asked how much longer it’d be before our entrees came out. He said “right now? Oh I was waiting to take your plates.” By this time it was 745, our concert started at 8 about 20 minutes away. We waited a little longer and the food still didn’t come, so we asked for the check for our drinks and apps. They charged us for 2 bottles of sparkling water but we only had 1. We asked for it to be removed and the server huffed and said “omg fine! You don’t have money, okay.” The bill for just the apps and drinks was $171; the cheapest thing on the bill was that water. Other reviews have said they think their skin color had something to with their experience, but I’m going to just say it; the staff at Jack’s is racist. Even the manager blew us off when we asked for him. We paid too much money to travel, get dressed up and go out to be treated like that. If you’re black don’t bother going to Jacks.
