   I arrived to be told I had no reservation, then of course they found it and put me and my guest at a noisy table in bar area, instead of dining room! Never had this bad service at this restaurant before, but was not happy!

   The food was excellent!! So was the service all around from host to servers. Very welcoming, attentive but not obtrusive. Definitely will come back.

   A bit confused by the menu changes. I actually went twice in a week; had a great experience on a weekday, return with friends on the weekend. When we asked for food recommendations our waiter told us what "was amazing but removed from the menu". The Prime Rib Dinner was replaced with Eggs Benedict (odd) and nearly everything we tried to ordered "we are out of that". Heavily seems like the menu changes were to inferior offerings, but also not communicated to the staff. Starters were okay - they were out of what we wanted. Mains were okay - they were out of what we wanted. Dessert was great... they were out of the fruit to complete the creme brulee. Bill was still 500 dollars for 2 people... I hope they figure it out, it is a good vibe in a great location. The price point is fine if reflected by the food offerings, which this last visit left a lot to be desired. I might go back in 6 months

   Overall, I had a good experience. My only real issue was being charged an additional $3 to substitute the gumbo for a bit of extra salad. I’m not a fan of gumbo in general—especially not restaurant gumbo—so I had hoped the swap would be a simple, even trade. It may seem minor, but sometimes it’s the small things that shape the guest experience. As a fan of the Hudson House, I came in with high expectations for Jack & Harry’s. So far, I’d give it a solid 7.75 out of 10.

   Food was very good but some of the portions were small for the price. The couple’s sitting behind us were very loud and disturbing . Overall it was good but overpriced . It was a birthday celebration and they charged for his dessert ! Probably will not return .

   Walking in the place looks great. Parking was a bit tricky but thats everywhere in dallas. We were running a few min late to our reservation so maybe thats why; but the hostess who sat us was not very nice at all. Not immediately impressed with service. However throughout the night servers, bartenders, and managers did an outstanding job. Food wise- we ordered the stuffed mushrooms (10/10), Caesar salad(9/10), and steak frites(7/10). Drinks- the Blue and Gold martini was so good if you like a dirty martini! The two margarita options were ok. Not bad but not impressive. Overall rating: 4.3/5

   This was my second time here — previously just eating at the bar. I love the look and feel of this restaurant. The sound level is a little much and could use a little work but the food was fantastic and our server was just perfect.

   I have been to JG twice and the experience was dramatically different each time. Possibly someone new was in the kitchen the second time? Timing was off….appetizer took forever and main coarse arrived wat before we had finished it. Food was not the quality at all of the first visit. We were delighted with service, food and ambiance the first time and really want this place to succeed. Hopefully management is reading this and can make tweaks. Consistency is key to a flourishing restaurant.

    We had a wonderful time. Seated in a banquette in the bar it was a great place to catch up with friends. Great drinks, dinner and service from Destiny! Always great!
