Food is always good, Zachary is always nice - we enjoy dining here with the family.
Great mimosa bar for my brunch!
Food was amazing. Service was prompt and friendly. Live music was great. Best Old Fashion I’ve had outside of New York or Chicago. Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent dinner menu and so hard to decide from. The Chicken pillared and lamb chops were excellent. Lovely evening and excellent service!
Great food and ambiance! Our server was busy with a couple of larger parties but did an excellent job making sure we were taken care of.
Love this place is really great! Never disappoints.
Nice birthday lunch on the patio
One of my favorite places hands down!!!! Love it!
great meal. Loved the bread at the table and service.
Amazing! From the appetizers to theain courses and oh so delicious dessert, it's now become one of our favorite restaurants in Frisco and the surrounding area. Highly recommended and a must!
Good food and good service. I took a friend for her birthday and they acknowledged it which made her very happy. Food is great but cakes are awesome!
Great place. Neighborhood gem.
Amazing service, food was delicious!
First time there, fantastic breakfast. Will definitely return.
Perfect menu, prices, atmosphere
Have eaten breakfast before and it was really good so we wanted to try it again for dinner. Took our daughter for her 21st bday and honestly, don’t feel we need to go back. Service was insanely slow. French onion soup was bland - didn’t taste like the French onion soup I know. Could have also used salt & pepper. Portobello tacos were one note - that too needed at least salt & pepper, if not something else. Tomahawk pork chop was overcooked. Pesto pasta was heavy on sauce, which too was one-note. Needed at least salt & pepper in the sauce - chicken was flavored perfectly with salt & pepper, but not the pasta/pesto. All 3 of us were very disappointed - 2 of us couldn’t finish our meals. Husband only finished his pork chop as he was hungry. Everything was one-note needed seasoning, protein was over cooked. Not what we expected for a pricier joint.
Love the experience and ambiance for lunch. Menu is wonderful! Our server was not as good as we expected and showed zero emotion or pleasure that she was a server. I hope she gets better - maybe a bad day.
Love the new seating and decor. So many choices on the menu that it was hard to decide what to have! I had the salmon and it was phenomenal...it will be hard not to order that every time but I want to try some of the other options! Wonderful service and ambiance!
Went for brunch and our waitress was less than thrilled to be there. There was a DJ on Saturday bumpin music really loud with rap mashups. While I like rap music, it felt really out of place for the time of day and ambiance. Food was ok. Espresso was serviced in a cappuccino cup which is very wrong. Cheese board was very uninspired and lacking. The decor indoor/outdoor was really cute though. Wanted to love it but it just fell flat.
Just when I think the lobster benedict can’t be beat, I end up ordering the mussels and I will never be the same.
J Theodore ALWAYS has their A game ON! We never leave feeling disappointed. Whether it’s a special event or just a pop in for lunch or girls drinks they take excellent care of us, drinks are spot on and they always go the extra mile!
Great experience except restaurant was way too dark and we couldn’t read the menus or see each other well.
a dj was playing way too loud at 10am. other than that was a great experience
Loved it. It’s our new meeting place.
Delicious lunch and great service
Super disappointed in the inconsistency of the wait staff...if it weren’t for the owners we would not come back. I have reservations for Tuesday and 12/27, but not sure I’ll be back sadly. Love the atmosphere, live music and cocktails...but the most inconstant waiters around. Olivia is amazing and should ask for her. I’m gluten and dairy free and the waiter tonight acted like he knew what I needed to not get sick, but he was clueless.
Love this place!!!! Love the love
Music and the patio. Also the wine selections!!!
Love J. Theodore
Food and service was excellent!
I have been here multiple times and every time we have been very pleased with the ambiance, food is delicious, prices are very feasible. By far one of my fav places in Frisco! Sunday vibes are the best!!!
Great food!! Drinks ,spot on! Enjoyed the DJ
Tiniest shrimp cocktail ever.
We came here the day after thanksgiving with my in laws and dinner started out great with cocktails and we ordered two bottles of wine. At about 9pm, they turned the lights down to where we could barely see our food and they had a DJ playing heavy rap and hip hop music. It was definitely not what we were expecting and not where I would have chosen for my in laws had I known.
Having a loud DJ doing wrap type music cheapened the experience.
This was my first time here since it became J Theodore. Had a patio lunch reservation on a weekday and I must say almost every table was occupied! Very nice patio ambiance. Not totally sure each table had 6 feet distance between them however.
Service was good but not great, the waiter didn’t offer any suggestions. The complimentary bread was delicious, served warm with butter. We split the Brussel sprouts appetizer which was huge for 2 people. The portabello tacos were very good, but the corn side was lacking in flavor a bit. My friend had the chicken paillard which she said was a bit heavy but good. I will definitely return and try some different items.
Great experience as always!!
Noise level was very uncomfortable with loud music and a large party of rowdy girls screaming, literally. Everything else was great.
The was a table of 7 to 8 young adult that were extremely noisy, drunk and loud. One woman took her blouse off. Their table was right in front of the bar. Other customers were also very annoyed. Management did nothing to resolve the problem.
We enjoyed the food and service. The mussels were fantastic. The drinks were somewhat unique and quite reasonable. Overal a good experience and worth repeat visits.
Six ladies met for lunch and to celebrate birthdays. The ambience outside is very nice and they do not rush you out. Which is saying a lot with the capacity restrictions. Most of us enjoyed our meals. I have been there a few times before and tried a different salad. Sadly, the chopped salad was extremely salty even with little dressing applied. I'd recommend their flatbread, brussel sprouts and truffle fries. They are very good.
