Pricey but the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Brandon (Waiter) gave recommendations that were spot on and delicious. We had the Waygu Sampler which was delicious. My personal fav was the Truffle Mac and Cheese. Also we’re given a One-bite salmon topped with Cavier cone and a sorbet palette cleanser which were nice touches to add to the experience. Worth every penny.

Second visit here, first time was last summer after a business trip and we were in the SA area. Our first visit was memorable, so we chose to come back again on a vacation trip for our son’s 18th birthday. Amazing, well trained and professional staff complement the ambiance and menu selection. The attention to detail from start to finish are incredible, the staff is knowledgeable, present, and highly attentive without being intrusive. Your meal is paced perfectly with bo feeling of being rushed, and we have never been left wanting as our needs felt almost anticipated and addressed by the staff. Love this place, and we will continue to pay a visit every time we are in the area.

My husband and I went for our 10 year anniversary. We shared the wagyu sampler plate which came with two sides and soup or salad per person. We got the sashimi appetizer. We were given several “surprises” throughout our meal. An amuse Bouche, bread and butter, dessert, sorbet and mint for a palette cleanser. The meat was incredible. The bread “balls” were out of this world (I don’t remember what they were called). Even the croutons were amazing. Everything was truly wonderful and the best dining experience we have had. I wish I could go back again, but my husband said I have to wait another ten years!

The 4 of us had dinner, cocktails and shared a bottle of wine. They were just a bit off last night becuase they failed to send out the little chef's surprise appetiser until just before the salads arrived. But managed to get to us just in time. We have to say that the individual bread & butter plates are a thing rather than sending out a basket of bread to paw over. They treat us like kings, er and queens, too since we are fairly regular customers. That is not to say they don't take care of everyone else who dines there, because I have observed that they do. We each had a salad; but the girls shared their salad, filet mignon, and baked potato with all the trimmings on the side, while the other 2 of us had a ceasar salad, filet mignon and au graten potatoes however, it was a boston salad for me, a filet mignon and baked potato, with all the trimmings to go with the potato. Cocktails are excellent, mine was fairly well a full pour of vodka which is a whole lot better than being totally light on the pour. The wine was excellent. Come dessert time we were past the point of wanting anything else, but there are a number of wonderful desserts on the menu, including a table side strawberry shortcake which we observed flaming at another table while being prepared. You should take advantage of the opportunity to have dinner here.

We enjoyed a table for two to celebrate my husband’s retirement and Birthday. We each had a filet, potatoes au gratin and the most amazing brussel sprouts I’ve ever tasted! To finish it off, we enjoyed the largest slice of Birthday cake I’ve ever seen. It was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back.

I had a business dinner here. Ordered the foi gras and wedge salad to start. The candied bacon on the wedge salad was to die for. Wine was wonderful and the server was amazing. Full attention to details and my every want. Changes and modifications to the menu dishes wasn't a problem. This is a pricey, more formal restaurant but perfect to celebrate a special occasion or have a business dinner. Definitely would come back.

The beautiful clear and lighted balloons created a beautiful ambiance in the room as you set one on our table celebrating my special b/day! The food was amazing and incredible, and the complimentary beautiful b/day cake that was brought to me with sparkler candles and happy birthday written in chocolate just was exceptional to end our evening. We thank you sooooo much for making our evening and my b/day a cherished memory!!!

Mateus was amazing and the person he was training was very attentive as well. Our dessert was done by a young man who took it very seriously and it was definitely spotlighted with how delicious it was. Steaks were amazing and sides that my wife and I chose were perfection. Overall will be back and currently standing at our favorite steakhouse in SA.

As soon as we came to the door we were greeted and wished a Happy Anniversary. The service and food were on point! They catered to all our needs and made sure of it by asking if we needed anything once our plates were served. And checked on you at the right time without being a bother. I liked the birthday balloons with lights they added a little extra to the room. For Anniversaries you receive a rose and a card.

We arrived early to chill at the bar for a bit, but they called us over to our table 45 mins before our 5:30 reservation. I wasn't upset, just a little disappointed that we seemed somewhat rushed to be seated at table. Brussel sprouts were a little too sweet for my liking, but they were tasty. All in, it was our 1st time dining at J-Prime and we enjoyed the experience.

Service and quality has gone down the past few years after all the good staff left to Austin. Was there for my birthday but felt rushed majority of the food was under seasoned especially the steaks. I think we’ll be looking for another steak place.

I had the filet, he had the scallops and we shared au gratin potatoes and brussel sprouts. Food was excellent as usual. It was Mother’s Day, so very busy and noisy with lots of children having a good time. In spite of that, the service was extremely attentive but never rushed. Jesus, our server, was outstanding. J-Prime never fails us!

The whole overall experience was amazing! The service was impeccable! Quality of the cut on steak was excellent! Wonderful drink menu with exotic specials as well, can’t think of anything bad to say about this place.Look forward to spending special occasions & birthdays here for sure.
