Went for Mother’s Day brunch and left with happy full bellies. Great value and 10/10 staff. Always a treat going to J Prime.

The food was amazing! Try the Street Corn as a side, it does not disappoint. The best filet I have ever had. Definitely in the top five restaurants I’ve been to. Top tier service as well. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Just sad that we don’t live in the state so we can’t come back.

We have been to every named steakhouse in the San Antonio area. JPrime is the absolute best at all aspects of food service, kitchen performance and value. It is a high end restaurant and prices are reflective of that. Unlike others we have been at, JPrime delivers!

Perfect for celebrations 🍾 We had an amazing multi-course dinner for 8 with several great bottles of wine! The ambiance is perfect for couples or groups celebrating any occasion, whether it's a birthday, graduation, or reunion. The only issue we had was that a few wines on the wine list we selected were not available, but the list is comprehensive and of substantive quality. We were really able to find other incredible wines to enjoy. The service was excellent, and the team servicing us gave us plenty of time to enjoy each other's company. Yes, over the course of over 4 hours, we never felt like we were waiting for anything. As a former waiter myself, that was quite impressive. The food was excellent! All the steaks and lamb were cooked to the perfect temperature. Seasoned just right, the wines matched appropriately. The appetizers were perfectly portioned, and the salads were served crisp and fresh. Most of us in our party chose to split our entrees with our spouses as the steak portions are huge! Now, I grew up in Texas, so I know everything is bigger here. But 20 to 44 ounce steaks can be shared and still have some left over. The sides were also delicious and match very well with the entrees. By the time the exquisitely delicious birthday cake was delivered, we were feeling pretty good about life. I want to thank the entire team at J Prime for another perfect evening! In San Antonio, J Prime is head and shoulders above all the other restaurants in the city.

Great as always. Only reason I have it 4 stars is every time we go the bar is too slow. We have to wait a long time for drinks to come. Otherwise great meal and service. Thanks

Expedient service and great food. We had the brussel sprouts, caprese salad, and fish. It was delicious. Creme brulee was great and enough for two people. All dishes had ample portions, plenty for two people to share. This was our first visit there, and we will return.
