This spot is amazing! Everyone at table was amazed by their steak. Francisco and his team provided over the top service! Best level of fine dining service I've had at any high end steakhouse. We found a new favorite spot and will definitely be back!

Service was great, our server Tyler really paid attention. It’s no the most cost-friendly joint in town but you know what you’re getting will be good, and you can find some less expensive items. Wine and whiskey list are solid also.

The GM, Miguel was very personal and even took pictures for us. Our waiter M. Pesto was incredible and answered all of our questions about the menu. Highly recommend getting the strawberry shortcake dessert.

Food and service were very good. Temperature was too cold and once the restaurant was 2/3 full, it was noisy and hard to have a conversation. Many of the tables are too close together. All in all, it was a good experience with wonderful food and attentive service.

From start to finish the service was impeccable! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We love restaurants that have open kitchens and the manager even offered us a tour. Loved everything about this steakhouse!

I had a wonderful time. My waitress was Allie and the managers were Gavin and Manuel. Everyone made sure we were attended to attentively and the food was excellent. Highly recommend J Prime to anyone looking for a new fine dining experience.

I was so hoping this would be my new go-to steakhouse but was really disappointed. Waited an hour for food to come out. Out of 4 steaks only one was cooked correctly. Ribeye was ordered medium rare and was served blue. Bone in filet was ordered medium and served medium rare, regular filet was ordered medium rare and served medium+ after originally not showing up at all with the rest of the steaks. The sides were delicious but small portions. The deserts were good but massive portions. The wine was absurdly over priced. Manager came over to give us his personal story of how he was picked to open this restaurant but never apologized for the many issues with the food. No offer for comped dessert or to have an item removed from the bill. When spending $200/person I have high expectations and this place missed the mark.

Friday the third was our first time in J-Prime. The space was very nice. Service came to the table quickly and attentively. We had Beau soliel oysters, which were very good and fresh. We split a wedge salad and split a 12 ounce prime strip, an 8 oz lobster tail, baked potato and creamed spinach au gratin. We loved everything we had with the exception of the spinach, which we didn't love, but we liked. The lobster tail came out five minutes late and the restaurant comped our wine because of that. For dessert we had lemon cheesecake which they poured flaming Licor 43 on when they served it. It was so good that I would that you over it. The service was superior and management came by at least three times just checking on us. It was a really good meal and we will be back for sure.

The Creekstone Farms beef they serve is incredible! This is my new favorite restaurant and I’ve yet to have a dish that isn’t top quality. The food is incredible and the staff are highly trained. The manager also stopped by and was wonderful, so I can understand why they are so successful.

We’re from San Antonio and go to the SA location several times a year. We went to Austin to celebrate my birthday and were excited to find out you have an Austin location. We recognized several employees from SA. Everything was great and such a nice atmosphere with a beautiful interior.

We had an excellent time here. The service with Manny taking care of us was fantastic. He was extremely attentive and took excellent care of us. The specialty drinks were well crafted, balanced, and wine recommendations were spot on. If you go, end the night with a carajillo!! Wouldn’t even know there’s alcohol in it and the espresso is smooth. The food was wonderful, but a bit overpriced. Lamb lollipops, dual filet’s, scallops, were all seasoned well and cooked perfectly. For the price though, I think you’re better off going to Capital Grille, Bob’s, or Perry’s. You are definitely paying for the service. Still a great place to go, but of all the steakhouses in Austin this is definitely the higher price end for what I would say isn’t blow you away flavored dishes.
