Food was excellent and had a waiter named Paris, who is extraordinary. Went out of his way, let my wife try the tomato soup and was just the most accommodating way we’ve had in a long time. Kind of an unusual location for such a lovely restaurant .

Food was decent, but on this particular visit, our server was not the best. Our appetizer came out after we were half way through our meal. Never brought out our request for ketchup until we had to leave our table to hunt her down. She made no apologies for the appetizer, or forgetting our ketchup. Poor attitude for a server.

Excellent breakfast location. Coffee is always good and hot. Different combinations for breakfast, but I usually get the Classic which is a standard breakfast. Eggs made to order, with hash browns or greens. I usually order the bacon cooked crisp and it always comes out as ordered. Service is very attentive and I have never been rushed while eating a meal there. It's a great place to meet up with friends.

Tasty food! Burgers were cooked to order. I ordered rare & that is what I got. I requested customizing burger such as no tomatoes & pickles and my requests were honored. The Arnold Palmer had the right balance of ice tea & lemonade. Service was excellent and ambience was very comfortable. Two thumbs up!

Food and service are consistent and good. While some of the prices are steep ($5 for iced tea and $9 for a side of bacon), most are reasonable -- as long as you don't order the filet ;-) Great happy hour. Great burger. Love the sweet potato fries -- regular fries have a funny taste. Some of the waiters have been there for years and are super friendly and attentive. All booths (and a few hightops), so always comfortable seating. Gorgeous real plants hanging from ceiling. A/C is sometimes too strong and music sometimes a bit loud, but other than that, love this place.

I really liked their meatloaf and mash potatoes. The problem was with the green vegetables...broccoli. It was way undercooked. There is a clear difference between crisp and uncooked. The chef needs to do a better job of identifying where one stops and the other stops. It's our "go-to" place for a nearby eatery that serves great food. We will definitely be back

We got a table right away because we had joined the waitlist. Our waitress was kind and friendly, our food came quickly and was delicious. We love going to Nichols for breakfast.
