   Excellent service and excellent food. The ambience was laid back for how good the food and service was. Delicious meal in a comfortable setting. Would highly recommend. We had a group of 4. Looked like the space could accommodate several large groups as well. The steamed mussels were remarkably delicious

   Delicious large servings. Beautifully presented. Great service. Oh don’t forget the dessert❣️One side note: I want to address an opinion that was negative during 11/24 re: who was cooking in the kitchen of an Italian restaurant - so disturbing to hear that sort of Ignorance- I guess with those thoughts and beliefs it’s okay to abuse their first amendment right.

   Our server Ricky was great, he has good service and very attentive but the food is not what we expected for an Italian food. The lemonade is water down, the sole fish (which is the special of the day) was dry, the puttanesca was overly soupy and the salad was the last to come out (after more than 10 mins when all orders were served that we were informed they are out of Kale) and yet the vinaigrette dressing is overpowering to the point the sourness is all we’re tasting. Good service but food is not worth the price.

   We have been here several times but haven’t for 2 years . The food was great I ordered the mushroom ravioli- highly recommend. Some ordered the eggplant Parmesan which the loved. One had linguine and clams and had ample clams. Carbonara very good too. Server did a great job.

   The menu prices on OpenTable are roughly 50% cheaper than the menu in the restaurant. I mentioned it to the manager on duty at the end of the evening, he seemed to acknowledge that he knew that was the case. He said he would let the owners know, but I felt he was blowing me off.

   The service is good. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and always willing to offer recommendations. The food is delicious, especially the Garlic bread and the Pacific Sole special pasta. The price is reasonable and the area is clean.

   Food is amazing as always, the Chicken Piccatta was delicious tender and juicy. Chicken Parmigiano was mouth watering. The service is impeccable from the hostess who meets you at the door to all the staff. Our waiter Rafael went above & beyond. Do not miss if you are in Tahoe near Heavenly.

   Izabella is our go-to Italian retaurant when in So. Lake Tahoe. Soups, salads, desserts and entrees all are top notch. We love the veal and chicken Saltimbaca and the blue cheese salads. The minestrone is wonderful with all dented pasta and seasonal veggies. The Tiramissu is one of the best we have had...and we have had it in Italy's best restaurants. Great service and reasonable prices make for a wonderful experience all around.
