Come visit our jumpin’ bar-- the full dinner menu along with a lighter bar menu are both offered along with fresh, classic style cocktails, six draught beer selections and an award winning wine list.
This is our favorite local restaurant. the have regular daily specials, a wine list well beyond my ability to criticize, and a staff that is friendly and capable. Don't know what else we can ask for.
We love this restaurant and use it for all our special occasions. We celebrated my husband's 60th this time.
The reason we docked it a star this time was their lack of addressing the current COVID climate. I had sent a question on their FB page that was never answered. In the restaurant, despite how empty it was, they seated each new party right next to the next instead of spacing them out further. We've been trying very hard to keep a social distance because we have elderly parents to consider if we were to become exposed. The lady that they sat at the very next table, 3 feet away, very loudly was proclaiming that she thought this all was just a big hoax and she's been going everywhere she wants and if she gets sick, oh well. I wish she had been across the room with that attitude. We didn't see any indication that the restaurant was taking any additional precautions and won't probably go back to this restaurant until the dangers from this current pandemic has passed.
Fabulous food and great service...
Fun place to get together with friends.
Amazing food in a delightful setting. Our server was a little overly attentive, but his colleague, Kyle, was wonderful. Kudos to him!!
The food is great, the service is great, the ambiance is nice. The menu has plenty of good choices and there is a full bar. We will continue to return.
Well prepared food at a fairly reasonable price and a nice atmosphere. Servers are generally pleasant as well.
Fabulous food and service
Great food, great service! In house pasta was delicious!
Excellent fresh food made with top-shelf ingredients. You WILL taste the difference! Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Corkage fee is stiff ($40) in case that matters to you. My favorite Italian restaurant in the area!
Traditionally the 3 of us celebrate each other's birthdays at Italianissimo. It's centrally located to ea h of our homes. Our birthday girl was 92/23 on Leap Year Day. She only gets to celebrate her real birthday every 4 years...so we celebrated in style. Our server, Emelie, was very attentive without hovering. A perfect day!
We had a good dinning experience. The food was really good and the ambiance was nice. I was surprised that the servers wine recommendation was right to the $290 bottle of wine as it seemed they were working for a larger tip. Also we went to celebrate 3 birthdays out of the 4 at dinner, and there was no complementary birthday dessert not even one to split. A bit disappointing. Would consider going back but would hope for more attention to the details.
Scheduled a reservation here and restaurant did not have seats except for an add on trailer in the back that felt like a funeral home with a table that wobbled from side to side. They had open booths in the front and back portion of the restaurant and refused to sit us at them because other reservations not on opentable took preference. The restaurant staff and mananger/owner were unprofessional and rude. Ended up leaving. The Olive Garden is 10x more pleasant than this toursit trap con job.
Loved it!! We felt like in Italy again with family
First time we have been here for lunch. Not impressed. I do recommend for dinner -- lots of good options available on the dinner menu.
Excellent as always.

Always great, love this place!
I love this place. When I haven't been in awhile, I start dreaming about the Chicken Marsala. My favorite dish on the menu. Best Italian food around!
Don’t let the location fool you. This place is that romantic little Italian restaurant you see in movies. Very clean and well appointed with an exceptional staff. The low light ambiance, white tablecloths and candlelight makes this a perfect place for couples to have fabulous food and reacquaint after a long week.
Leave the kids at home and go or invite another couple or two, but go!
Fabulous meal. Enjoyed thoroughly by party of four. Corner table and restaurant was very busy, but conversations were low and nice music. Chopped salad delicious, chicken Marsala the best ever! Creme Caramel was very good too. Only suggestion would be to better train those at host stand in great customer service to make guests feel welcome rather than an imposition. We overlooked this at checkin and everything else was very enjoyable. Server was attentive without disrupting conversation.
Disappointing for spending $80 for dinner for 2. Both of our dinners were not great.
Love this place! Have been several times and always a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.
Hadn't been in a while and used to love this place so thought would be fun for Valentines day. The server was great but clearly overwhelmed. They shoved in extra tables to accommodate more people so it was cramped. Server said they made up new table numbers for the night so everything was messed up. We waited over an hour and half between our soup and main course, many others who came in well after us were served much sooner. They even came and started to clear out silverware thinking we'd already eaten before our main course arrived, pretty sure out order got lost or served to a different table. Seafood chowder was excellent, steak for two was not good and we only ate part of it. I understand they tried to accommodate more for V day but they clearly weren't properly preparade for it. In talking with others, lots of comments on how they place seems to be going downhill in terms of quality. Not sure if we'll venture back here again.
Outstanding food and service on such a busy night!
Food is good and good portions at a good price. I can’t say that I’ve had a bad meal here and I’ve been here at least 10 times. I do wish their cosmos were better...not enough lime juice!
Excellent service, wonderful food and drinks!
Despite our reservation getting lost. Staff made an available space within minutes and had us seated at a great table. Everyone in our party loved their dinner and we will all be back 😊
Always great we drive 45 min to come to dinner here food is always great
This was our second time and we absolutely loved it! This will be our go to date night restaurant from now on. The food is excellent and it's an easy place to sit and talk. All of the staff make you feel like family.
Italianissimo does not disappoint. Excellent food and great service every time.
This is a friendly but classy Italian with regular specials and an extensive wine list that is well beyond my level of sophistication. Its where we go if we want something special
The waitstaff was very attentive and addressed all of our needs. Overall the food was good but my wife was not a fan of the dish she was served (Linguine Vongole), I think it just simply tasted too "plain" compared to what she's used to and she mentioned that it was a bit too "soupy" - would have been better with additional spice and less broth/water. I had a pasta dish that included shrimp and Italian sausage, it was tasty but the sausage could have used a little more heat to spice things up a bit. Nonetheless, it was a good dining experience and I'd recommend it to others and let them decide for themselves if they'd try it again.
The ambiance and service was pretty nice. The food wasn’t as tasty as we had expected, portion sizing was nice though.
Pretty noisy on Friday night, hard to have a conversation. Selection is pretty standard “italian-american” fare: bolognese, carbonara, clams, veal parmesan, salmon, mozzarella with tomatoes, that kind of menu. Expected something more true italian for an upscale place. Calamari steak for some reason was battered in eggs and i guess, fried, rather than grilled, and served with mash. I guess if your concept of a steak is a southern chicken fried steak, then sure.
Excellent food and great service. Always enjoy the authentic Italianissimo atmosphere.
We used to regularly go to Italianissimo and really enjoyed it. It was our special
occasion restaurant. This time the server was short/rude I’m chalking it up to hopefully she was just not having a good night. Being in the service industry for year I know we can’t always be on our A game. Although when spending that kind of money on a meal I would hope she either sucks it up or fakes it a little better next time. I will say the portions are bigger than they used to be but unfortunately I think they lost the quality. Maybe people want more food less flavor? Unfortunately we will not be revisiting what used to be our favorite restaurant.
The service was terrible, the server walked off with my credit card for over ten minutes and when I inquired about where it was another staff member brought it back and the card still hadn't been run. The food was good, but over priced. I won't be back
Despite waiting to be seated over other late arriving customers the experience was okay but not great. Food was delivered but at different temperatures
We used to like this restaurant very much; however, on this occasion it was a very disappointing experience. Service was exceedingly slow. Somehow our dinner order got lost, and when we finally received the sole special, the food was bland, under-salted and the vegetables were undercooked. For a sole entrée with mashed potatoes, the price of $36.00 seemed overpriced.
